  1. lol . - no one has anything to say. -- everyone's in silent awe of this thing. ---- even to say "drooling" just seems too little. would be interesting to see what it goes for. interesting how little information they put in the ad.
  2. [quote. Any kit that uses any part of a Rough Country lift is at least partially a cheap P.O.Crap. They only thing that their fanboi's can counter with is that they are (A) cheap and (B) Rough Country often gives you freebies for all of the F-uped stuff they do/sell. I hate to see Hellcreek associated with them. that sounds like good advice. i am in need of a replacement trac-bar and have been looking at the rough country ones and they are amazingly "inexpensive" compared to others and i was wondering why. ( same with their control-arms). - the attraction is that they come with the drop-bracket for about $135. if anyone knows of a good alternative i would be interested. and when it was mentioned that a good 3" lift could be much better than a crappy 4.5", i am just wondering what parts would be different and what -not.
  3. I am in the do it right, or don't do it at all camp. Plus, you can cobble together a pretty mean 3" that will take you anywhere a discount junk 4.5" will take you anyway. Rob 'splain .......
  4. I'm embarrassed to admit how much i like a couple of those.

  8. I'm no expert, but it sounds to me like you should / could just get a whole unit off of a junk xj and bolt it right in. i took the master and slave out of my parts xj in one unit ( no fluid loss) . i havent done the bolting in part yet but I'm assuming that if you do it this way there is no hassels with bleeding or anything like that. - just make sure u get one that works. maybe someone with a bit more experience could chime-in and confirm this though.
  9. i used to run 30 - 32 all the time, but since i don't take this truck on the freeway, i have been running 20 for the last year and it seems about right. - no handling issues and good mileage and ride.
  10. i used to do it but after they passed the law i stopped. even before that i could see that it was becoming a dangerous thing to be doing. i really do think its the most dangerous thing - right up there with really drunk driving. - talking on the phone, on the other hand, doesnt seem nearly as dangerous. - no more-so than smoking or changing the radio station. ....... or gps, drinking a pop, looking out the window, or a miriad of other things that we are allowed to do.
  11. same symptoms as my '91. slave cylinder gone. find out if it's internal or external.
  12. the brain is the most important organ. ---- at least that's what the brain says.....

  14. just sell the sye. you don't need it, plus it will save you the hassels with the driveshaft. - some of them , anyway.
