Yes alot fewer Dealerships is a good thing, if you are a manufacturer. Unfortunately, the ones to go will be the smaller ones( many family owned for generations) who actually gave a rat's butt about the customer. We'll be left with the "supermarket" dealers who sell everything at one or more of their lots. The unions have given up alot the last several decades, and it has been a trade-off. Fewer workers being more productive and efficient, but receiving higher pay in return. We wouldn't have the standard of living we enjoy here without them. Otherwise, companies would hire as many immigrants as possible for $4/hr, just look at the meat packing industry. There are good and bad points to both sides, but in the end IMHO, those of us left working will foot the bill.

"These are the times that try men's souls..." as the old saying goes. Best anyone can do is try to keep a positive attitude, and whether you believe in a higher power or not, things happen that are out of our control sometimes. Make the best of what life brings, enjoy all the little things in life, and always look forward to each new day. :D

This is my 5th trip to the Sunshine State in the last 3 years, and since we have friends down there, I'm sure we'll be back often. Next time it'll be their turn, especially if we buy this house we found. Getting all our ducks in a row right now, but it looks good.

If by Mickey's property you mean the Magic Kingdom, that's where we are going. Plan on getting the fast pass for the rides, but other than that, we're just going to wing it. The wife wants to be there when they open and stay till the park closes!Of course that all depends on our legs holding out that long.

Yea, Pete, I know that's not much time. I've been to the one in Ca., when I was stationed in the Mojave Desert, preferred Knotts more. Kennedy is pretty cool; the wife, myself, and the little one have been there before( but not at the same time). My kids are 17(son) and 12(daughter). The youngest, Olivia, is 4. It's alot to try and do in a few days( gotta save time for a few runs to Steak and Shake), but it's not like we can't go down again, unless they drive me crazy and I send them home on a Greyhound! Jeff, I'll see what I can do. You like Chicken pie?

First vacation of the year, kids on Easter break. Time to get away. There are 5 of us, so obviously the MJ is not making the trip( this time). We have friends in Melbourne,Fl. that we're going to stay with for awhile. Plan to go to the big Mouse House one day, Kennedy Space Center another, day at the beach( probably Cocoa), ect. Headed down I-95 all the way, will spend Fri. night at Pedro's( South of the Border) and get there late Sat. afternoon. Don't know if I'll be able to meet up with any other members along the way( Taz is close, being in Orlando), But if anybody wants a shout out, feel free to PM or e-mail me. Everyone have a safe and Happy Easter!

Loved it! Went to WallyWorld after work today. Late night is good for playing "Bingo", and as Larry said " It's like Monty Python's Ministry of Silly Walks" at that time. :rotf:

I see new ones( ones I haven't seen before) on a regular basis. I also get a lot of comments( " I haven't seen one of those in awhile!) . There are enough of us around here, I'm thinking meet and greet this summer. :waving:

The third and 4th pics looks like them. They fit on each end of the rear bumper.
-
I could use a set( or at least the pass side) plastic end pieces from the step bumper, if it has one.

Shemp was an original stooge untill he struck out on his own. He returned after youngest brother Jerome( Curly) suffered a stroke. Shemp( given name Samuel) died 2 years later. The final 2 reelers had Joe Besser. The feature movies and the cartoon series had Joe DeRita. They shot a pilot for a new series ca, 1969 called "Kook's Tour". Unfortunately, Larry Fine suffered a stroke shortly thereafter, thus ending one of the great comedy acts of all time.

If it's not clearly out of the QB's hand( ie thrown) it's not a pass. At least IMVHO.

I've only seen a few RHD XJ's. Jeep had a special order option for postal carriers. Not sure how you went about ordering one though.
