before i painted mine black i insulated tha cab way better then they were ever meant to be. i used heat sheilding and denim insulation and that foam window insulation. but it wasnt that yellow kind that gets all over the place, this stuff was white, thicker, and didnt expand as much. and lets just say that even though it is flat black now, my cab stays nice and cool for the most part. it not like my 86 C10 that is also black but no cab insulation. heck my gfs silver cav gets hotter then my mjs. alex

well i cleaned firefoxs cache and everything and it seems to have fixed it. but i will see for sure i guess. thanks pete. alex

i will 2nd that. i have tons of cans left that i bought when they had the "33% more" ones at lowes. i have even sprayed it on paper plates and "touched up" chips around my windsheild and stuff. alex

i don't know if it is something on my end or not, but everytime i reload the page or click on the logo i have to log back in once in awhile. i have not closed the window or logged out or anything like that. i even made sure that i had it checked to keep me logged in. i even have firefox remember my SN and password. but for some reason it keeps logging me out. IDK. alex

no there are two diff MJ ones that are just for MJs IIRC. one for body and one for mech stuff. we had them at the jeep dealer i use to work for. they were both paperbacks. i tried to get them off of them but they wouldnt give them to me. they said they still needed them just incase. maybe i should repay them a visit. alex

anyone have any sites where i can get 4.10 gears for an xj d44? along with new perches. alex

i have been told stories like this before. they seem to go both ways. but most of the ppl that have snapped them seem to be running bigger then 31s. so i don't know what i should do. i don't really have the money righ tnow for a 44 but i don't need to snap a 35 down the road and just be out money. alex

will a d35 with 4.10s hold up if i lift it only 3" and put 31s on it. all it will be used for is a dd and weekend mud running every now and then. I'm just wondering because i don't have much time with bailing hay right now to make an xj d44 work and i can't find a cheap mj d44 or other axle that would bolt up and be stronger then the d35. alex

i know which ones you mean. i don't like those much either. there are a few mjs in the junkyard round me if you can't find some thing i can get it for ya. they are always getting new ones. all of them still have the steering wheels like the one in my pic though. let me know if ya want me to pick something up the next time i go here soon. alex

i might be able to go, that is if i get my 86 oil leak fixed. if its not fixed i will lose too much oil on the trip. any date is fine by me. i could also drive the 88 and ppl could look at it if it isnt sold by then. i can't wheel it though being 2wd and for sale.

EVERYTHING that is just body stuff and not mech stuff swap between my 86 and 88. that means all grille parts, hoods, doors, tailgates, flares, dash stuff, anything else too. i have swaped all the good parts from my 88 onto my 86 but then back again once i found better parts in the junkyards. and both my 86 and 88 have this steering wheel: so you can look in any year mj if that is what you are looking for. alex

your telling us that they don't even keep them around for parts?! i would be yanking all i could off of it first. that sucks, but what would really kill me to see go into it is any older classic cars or trucks. alex

isn't the tremors truck a shortbed? i have had no luck finding that bed and small rear window. but what i am having the worst time finding it one that isn't an 80s one with the ugly square headlights. there is two between bucyrus and marion. not stepsides but o well. i might get the 70s one that has been sitting for about 5 years. still has the chrome razor grille and everything. i can always change to a rhino grille later. ;) alex

yea i know i was thinking that too. i even went and measured and it matched up. but for the mjs on the site if you do the battery match thing they say they don't make one for it. who knows. yes i am going the the duel purp yellow top. i need something that i don't have to worry about as much if i am only listening to music. alex

is there an optima yellow top that will work with my 86? i like to use my truck as a sort of outdoors radio since i have an xplod in it. but on the optma site they say none of their batteries will fit. i was looking and i think the D34/78 or D34 would work. but will my alt handle it? i need a new alt soon anyways so is there a heavy duty alt that will work with the D34/78 or D34 yellow top? here is the yellow tops spec sheet: http://www.optimabatteries.com/publish/ ... specs.html thanks alot, alex.

yea both mine are spray paint until i get around to doing a better paintjob. makes for great temp paint and easy to fix scratches. lol. alex

i know what you mean on body work. my 88 wasnt in very good shape when i got it but now it is. i got lucky on my 86, no rust at all but surface. alex
