man why can't i find a j-truck around me? :cry: alex

all i need is a mj kit that is 3". anyone know of any that are good but cheap? rough country is the cheapest i have found. their kit to me don't look too bad plus Jp mag said it was an ok lift. but idk for sure. so any ideas would really help me out. alex

well does anyone out there have a cheap but good complete 3" lift kit out there for the mj? alex

what do you guys think about rough country kits? i am thinking about buying their 3" lift kit for now untill i decide if i want a 6+ on my mj or if i just want to wait till i find a j-truck or m-715 to lift way up there. alex

pete you forgot what was above the MJ. 3: 87-95 2.5L YJs 2: 87-94 4.0L XJs and can we all guess what number one is.... 1: ANY FSJ Waggy or Cherokee 62-91 there it is the whole list. idk bout the rest of you guys but i would put the J-Trucks before the FSJ waggy or cherokee, just because i want a truck. :D but of course the best to have to make a real off-roader is the M-715s.... or that 6x6 M35A2. 8) alex

yea but pete did you see how jp said to stay away from the 86 year because of no easy engine swaps. well they got a nice little note from me when i read that!:headpop: they must not know about the 3.4L swap. i mean come on, i love my 86 even if for right now it has the 2.8L (3.2L) still in it.:cry: P.S. hey pete i might get my hands on one of those 6WD M35A2s.:cheers: alex

i have an xplod in my 86 mj but I'm not into the boomin so i don't have an amp or sub. but man don't those xplods sound saweet? alex

i just looked at their site and it has headers for all styles of MJs from what i saw. alex

sawzall. plasma cutter. cutting torch. take ur pick. alex

i have mine preped with por-15 for whenever i find a liner for my truck this way i don't have to do anything in the future. :D alex

both my 86 and 88 are a non-clip so you should be ok. alex

well this is gonna be fun. i compared those pics to my v6 and i either don't have most of those color of hoses anymore or i need to do some serious hunting. i only looked at it real quick. i don't have much time to work on it right now with school getting ready to end and having big papers due. :evil: alex

thats pretty cool. how do those things 4x4 system work? are they any good? i have a honda recon o(r sumthin like that) but its only 2wd and will go almost anywhere but snow. alex

well if this was my 88 that would work. but in my 86 that isnt where the vac ball is. and with this v6 i have no clue where it is. i will look for it and check there first though. thx alot. alex

i was just sittin here with my mind wandering ,like it always does when i got nuthin better to do, and i came up with this little idea this time. wouldnt it be cool if all, most, or some of the club members could get together and do jeep stuff. i know its really more of an idea these days in age with the gas prices and everything but it would be cool. well anyways I'm just throughin this out here since its sumthin club related. alex
