ok that is the lift i am going to get to start with untill i have more money. this is about all i can get and still get tires wth gas these days. so i was wondering what size tires can i run without trimming? i have an 86 3.2L (2.8L mod) auto. it will also at the same time as the lift be getting new axles. front: d30 with 4.10s R/R and rear: xj d44 with 4.10s. i have the stock steel wheels too. alex

i got replacement keys for my 86 mj at walmart. my door one is square metal and the ignition one is square but has the black plactic on it. alex

if you are useing the newest firefox it prints websites fine. and it prints them really well if you do the landscape thing. alex

i was going to say, there are two different rear windows. big middle window and two in the middle. my 86 and 88 both have the bigger one and only my 88 had the clip. i almost broke the glass trying to get it off the 88 for my 86. i got it and it works great. just for a heads up at how well these are stuck on it seems. alex

Roadless, did you do that yourself with the kits they have in stores? if so is there any special thing you have to do to get your system to take the cans of stuff? mine won't take any of the retrofit oil stuff or 134a stuff. just wondering if there is something you have to do first. like an old r12 era valve in there you have to open or something. thanks alot. alex

a 134a fitting looks like an air hose connection. the r12 kind just screwed on. alex

let us know how that goes. i am looking into swappin in a dakota magnum engine. v6 or v8 either is better then what i have. alex

let me know what you find out the reason is. mine does this with all fan settings not just ac. so let me know. i was thinking it might be the volt reg in the alt, so i was going to by a new alt but if it something else let me know. alex

i have a fye bumber made for a dakota on mine. it is all steel step bumper. you can get them in black powder coat or chrome. they are on ebay all the time. alex

i just had mine out too to replace lights and clean up the dirt. so i will try that too when i lube it. but mine was bouncing before that too. alex

i installed a sony xplod in both my 86 and 88 and the wiring was the same. but if eagle still thinks they are not then i can tell you the color combos from my 86 when i rip the dash apart on weds to grease up my speedo. alex

ok my 88 had all four spots taken up from the factory. they go like this: cargo box light/fog lights/comfort and power setting/sportbar lights hope this helps. alex

well i just went to walmart and got the bulbs. i already replaced all of them but the low fuel one since i did not have the socket clip. but man those bulbs are hard to replace. so the parts store should have the sockets, i will have to get one. alex

"socket" that was the word i was looking for. :oops: . and i will have to try that on the speedo. alex

in my 86 my dash lights have been acting up so i decided to clean them and replace them all. but when i got back there i found that i had no low fuel light. so i moved one of the backlighting lights that light the gauges to the low fuel spot and it would not go out. i just filled up before i did all this so i know its not because i am out or low. so i have a few questions. 1: where can i get the gray plastic clip part that the bulb goes into that holds it into the dash? 2: what would cause it to not go out? also my speedometer is acting up. it bounces alot now and takes forever to slow down when i come to a stop. it is also about 5mph fast now. so i was wondering how i tighten it back up since it is a mechanical one. thx alot. alex
