correctly stated, that would be "when you're wrong" and, no, it's good advice, period.

Sometimes it's best to put the shovel down....just sayin.

I'm not too far away - maybe an hour plus. I'll send Steve a message and see if we can get together. Will keep all updated.

That's an omen. Hope it's a good one and Meg's okay with you and the new younger missus. -
Original MSRP was $60,000 in 1987. Didn't really expect that. Not sure what I expected, but it weren't that...

Hey, glad you got her. I made an offer about a month ago, but think I insulted the owner. Wasn't trying to....but.... Looking forward to watching the reincarnation. -
Hey, that's good. Now I gotta reason to watch. Thanks!

Says engine runs but needs rear seal. Looks to be a gray sportruck with topper. Someone out there rescue this one. http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/cto/3585919259.html

Loooooong time Saints fan. Long enough to remember Mr. Montana kicking our tails every year. Cannot route for the 49ers....ever....like Falcons.... And really don't care for the love oozing Ray Ray's way. He was indicted for murder, now he's a poster boy. Just don't get it.... No favorite. But, I did like the SNL skit making fun of Ray Lewis. http://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/video/weekend-update-ray-lewis/n32030/

Because I SOOOOO prefer my Sportruck to this.....

Diggin the monochromatic paint job!!! But, you got a little overspray on the windshield. Welcome!

Maybe not good for crawling rocks, fallen trees and fording streams, but I bet they would work very well on soft or hard-packed sand. Think Middle East.....

Someone on here once said "Comanches are like Lego trucks". Mix and match and build it like you want it. There are some very creative people on this forum and I have to think that talent along with an 'animal rescue mentality' has a lot to do with it. ...and maybe a little Dr. Frankenstein / Six million dollar man, too.... "It lives, It lives!....can make it faster, stronger"

#1 Of The 6 Worst Cars At The Detroit Auto Show 2013
Butchershop replied to HOrnbrod's topic in The Pub
Yup, you're right..... 2014 Lexus IS Sports Sedan The giant spindle grille, which indents inward in a V shape, makes this look like a muscle car on steroids instead of a classy luxury vehicle. Looking at the car head on, the headlights, grille and lower body form what looks like an angry face. The luxury market is now full of sleek, elegant offerings. This latest Lexus model doesn't quite compare. So..........the Sports sedan looks to muscular??? No credibility for the whole article. -

oooh oooh oooh oooh oooh.... Someone who knows more, please tell us. Is this factory or a good looking mod? -
Man, what a tease! Get us some pics already..... Glad you made it ok. Drove within a few miles of me, too. I wouldn't have stopped for me, either. :D

MIssissippi? That wasn't on his original route plan.....I trust all is well and he made a mid-trip mod! "I'm going to be driving from Asheville NC thru Memphis, Little rock, Dallas, Abilene etc..."

Taught my daughter to drive a manual 5-speed (Audi A4) and she loves the fact that she can do something most boys her age cannot!!! IMO, it's the best way to 'learn to drive' and understand what a car is doing. My son (soon 14) will learn to drive the MJ this summer. Not on the road, but he really wants to be able to move it around the yard. I would bet teaching him to drive a manual would cost you less *money* and *time*.

Yes, please....
