  1. That stuff's headed our way - but we'll probably only get a layer of "black ice" overnight. Morning commute in the ATL will be quite the mess. Only thing worse than ATL drivers in bad weather is......uhhhhhh.....hmmmm.....ok, I'm stumped...... . :MJ 1: .
  2. Wouldn't hurt to do Cruiser's ground refresh - cheap improvement. There's a lot of vibration seen in 1500 miles. http://comancheclub.com/topic/36311-updated-renix-grounds/page__hl__refresh
  3. Made me a tad uncomfortable.
  4. That is such a manly truck. Just oozing testosterone. (keep it away from cyclists from Austin) Very nice find! Look forward to seeing more pics...
  5. Not sure who is involved, but it would appear to be more serious if "SIGANTURES" was spelled correctly in the ad.
  6. Man, really sorry to hear that. Buy a roundtrip ticket through Charlotte (USAirways) to Tampa. On the return leg, skip the last flight, get out in Charlotte, pick up truck and drive home.... Just don't check any bags on the return.
  7. try Craigslist for ride sharing.... http://asheville.craigslist.org/rid/ http://asheville.cra...3515486984.html Depending on the date, I may be able to help you in/around Atlanta. If you can get it trailered to North Atlanta (Cumming, Alpharetta), I can probably help you get it picked up in this area - or at least offer the best advice. It would be better than meeting at/near the aiport. You can fly to ATL for about $111 from San Antonio (Southwest), and all the way to Asheville for $400 on Delta.
  8. I'm interested as well depending on final configuration. 3/2 is good for me. Are there other mods/considerations that should be taken care of at the same time?
  9. The wide load post http://comancheclub.com/topic/36790-wide-load/ and a recent email got me thinking there must be a lot of really weird builds that you guys have come across. Let's see what you've got. I'll offer this one up to the tune of "too much time on my hands" http://www.snotr.com/video/9682/Little_Red_Wagon (Can't get it to embed)

  11. They still don't know it's a 4 speed.
  12. Are the OEM louvres metal?

  14. Some things to look at... Astra Not OEM but listed for reference, not sure about the eBay ones. http://www.sfxperformance.com/parts/AST3124.htm http://www.sfxperformance.com/parts/AST5037.htm http://compare.ebay.com/like/400131022939?var=lv&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sba http://compare.ebay.com/like/400131023079?var=lv&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar
  15. Almost ran off the road when I saw this appear near the house. Sign says $1500. No other info. It's at an old store which generally just sells household junk.
  16. What DO you DO in the Fall?
  17. Modified XJ buckets. Cleaned, coated the floor panels. Installed new carpet, covered the headliner. Insulation and carpet details in this thread. http://comancheclub.com/topic/36733-carpet/ Ran a few wires to the back of the cab before installing the carpet.
  18. Agree, but more than "tilt". I'm sure we all have / know similar stories. Be safe and avoid being a statistic.
  19. I just tossed my first PC today. Epson 8/12 MHz switchable. Ooooh..the speed. Does still having a 13 diskette (3.5") version of Excel for Windows count as hoarding?
  20. . Thanks for the offer to check. I'll let you know if I need it soon.
