Rotella because of this discussion: http://comancheclub.com/topic/36262-preferred-oil-weight/ and this testimony: http://comancheclub.com/topic/24064-shell-rotella-t-15w40/ C101 is on the firewall near the brake booster. Anyone Ever Rebuild The Throttle Body?
Butchershop replied to a1awind's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Did the same for mine a couple months ago. 1) ground refresh - all locations 2) cleaned throttle body thoroughly 3) shined up the IC valve pin + a can of sea foam + cleaned the C101 connector + new Rotella oil + lucas oil treatment + tank of premium gas Made a world of difference in idle and running power to the 4-banger. Previously, the idle RPMs would cycle up and down. Now sitting steady and sounding good. Also, eliminated a valve(?) clatter at higher RPMs. Took a few drives for the ECU to learn is wasn't a new truck again. :shake: But, it feels just fine right now. Time to move on to the suspension issues :wrench: -
? Please tell more.... ? all chrome? some black :crossfingers:? Thanks!

I've heard of people buying these off CL, using them for a trip and then reselling them. Might be worth a little time to watch for one.

Ok, let me know what you think. Since I have the wheels, I'm considering making it a 'Golden Eagle' Comanche with the below as inspiration. Maybe add golden eagle decals on hood. Circle eagle decals on sides. Don't think I'll go with the large bird decal on hood. Eventually converting interior to tan. Sound cool or retarded? All opinions welcomed. Thanks.

Comanche Spotted On University Of Southern Mississippi Campus
Butchershop replied to RyanL's topic in The Pub
Ryan, you come through the tornado okay? It's a beautiful campus, can't imagine what it must look like now. Enjoyed my time there! -
EZ Cool. Cheap(er) solution adhered with headliner spray adhesive. I used two rolls, but have some left over. Covered floor, door panels, roof, back panel, B pillars. I also stuffed fiberglass batting into the A & B pillar holes. Not tight, but enough to help. IMO -Stay away from tar or roofing materials - summer heat will release the VOC's and smell up the truck. Had a friend just use it in a **cough cough** F150 with good results, too.

Full day of work, then 18 holes at the golf course all in the same day...in the daylight. That's a smokin day! Keepers for me....I can turn lights on in the office, not on the course. Can replace golf with fishing, wrenching, hiking, etc....

I'm not sure it's good to go. I got an email yesterday from them saying my order shipped (from October?) But, I never ordered anything from them. I immediately checked my Paypal and there's no payment to them, so I hope I'm safe there. Maybe we better let this sort itself out before ordering. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- An order you recently placed on our website has had its status changed. I have a blue interior, thinking of changing to tan. Don't need seats. Blue bench, if you want it. Send me a PM and we can discuss. Location: near Atlanta
