    snow....

LMAO......Exxxxxactly! I saw an article recently where the global warming supporters made a comment about the strong winter this year just being an abnormality and that global warming was still of grave concern. Yet, they still never seem to have true supporting data.
  2. The siping essentially allows the rubber to flex and the little slits kinda/sorta open and close to "pinch" the surface along with all the little surface edges of them to create grip.
  3. yep, we're in the heart of the big precip forecast.
  4. Current: 88 LB 4wd 4.0 AW4 Laredo Past: 87 LB 2wd 2.5 AX5 Laredo
  5. :shake: Well there you have it Darren, after 6 days of membership and 42 posts, 1Bad says you can stay as long as you are not a Rrrrick. If I were you, I'd ask Pete to pull this thread now, you're all set. :smart:
  6. bottom of page 1, great shot of CW's rig with 33x9.5 BFGs. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=16898&hilit=33x9.5
  7. You just gave it.....
  8. Shut your pie hole, we know you'll be around. :fool:

    snow....

we got about 10" 100 miles west of Jeff, very rare that Richmond gets more than us.
  11. Over $100 but I think these would look good too. http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/WheelClo ... sort=Brand
  12. Outlaws or Cragars in black........
  13. yup. but i don't think they make 33x9.5s anymore. i think that size was only offered in the first generation Radial Mud Terrain BFG. $148 at Tire Rack http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSearc ... 5&x=41&y=7
  14. PM Dunl with it each time until he approves the correct size. :smart:
  15. Ahhh, I see the old Pat has returned. Rude, tactless, and ALWAYS right. :shake: Now that I've got that off my chest, ahh, EVERYBODY, he has made it clear he is not specifically wanting military tires. Mainly tall and skinny. But as always, the usual suspects here all get a hard on to latch on to the minor references or somewhat inaccurate descriptions of what the OP is looking for and then go on and on trying to show how knowledgeable they are about something that never really address the true question. Then at some point, just like on this thread, Pete cuts through the crap and gets to the point "what is the purpose of these tires?". Sterling, in addition to the 31/9.5 Swampers suggested, BFG has 33/9.5's depending on how much lift you go with. End
  16. Part #CC784 on RockAuto.com, $80 a pair, not bad IMO. http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=201282
  17. I think if the winning bidder put in automatic bidding, it will only show his name up to the point until he has been outbid, just his name nobody outbids him. Not sure, but IIRC.
  18. I've heard good things about Moog springs. You can get them through any of the auto parts stores, or just order them online from somebody like rockauto.com. Stock size runs @$60 each IIRC.
  19. This might be the stupidest thread I've ever seen. Dunl, you can't be serious can you?
  20. GTFOH!!! No you dih'nt!! :fool:
  21. Only other picture I have right now. Thanks. Maybe a straight side shot when you get a chance. :brows: Mine photoshopped...
  22. I'd like to see more pics of the 86, as that is how I plan to paint mine eventually.
  23. That certainly makes sense to me. When MJeff87 and I put on the MT springs, the centering pins were intact and dropped right in the backing plate. Since then, while I've hauled some heavy loads, this truck has been babied. No wheeling, nothing that I could imagine could shear off the centering pin. :dunno: :hmm:  :dunce: It's still at the shop and I just stopped by to tell my buddy to put it on the lift and take a look at it when he gets a chance.
