  2. I resemble that remark. Anyhoo, there was a Scrambler on eBay about a year like that, wasn't a Collins Bros though. It was in Colorado and had like 3k miles or less on it. Asking was $30k I think.
  3. After all, that's how you met your wife, right? :rotfl2: Nope, your thinking of "Causal Encounters", a popular section on craigslist. And I definitely don't tell my wife about what I do in there. I thought they banned that? Too late though huh, you already got yours, right?

  5. Great story. For the Ritalin twins who couldn't sit still for 4 minutes to read it all, too bad. But dude, what are you worried about, you're in the money on that truck! $100 for the Grand Cherokee Canyons, and I bet you could get, I dunno, (Dice Clay voiceover here) tree, maybe four hunge for those taillights on ebay baby! Ohhhhhh!

  12. :fool: That oughta lift his spirits!
  13. I figured as much, but had to ask. Fortunately I picked up a nice S10 chrome bumper this summer, still need to mount it. congrats on the find...........what part of PA?
  14. :agree: Wow......and, uh......Wow. Selling the chrome rear bumper? Seriously interested.
  15. :needpics:
  16. wow, looks great! I think the Rubi wheels always look good on MJs. did you paint it yourself? How much lift?
  17. http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/ct ... 71052.html There are subtle differences between the two trucks - rims, rollbar, bench/buckets, interior panels are a different color, steering wheel. They very well could be two different trucks that happen to be the same exterior color. Yeah, but both claim to be almost exclusively parts from 97 XJs. If simply coincidence, it's quite amazing IMO because the also both incorporated XJ rear bumpers and the "tail/hatch gate". :dunno:
  18. :hmm: one link says it's in los angeles, and this one says it's in the philly area. plus, the one shown in LA I don't think has a roll bar on it. no way there are two MJs built exactly that way................do i smell a rat?
  19. He needed a place to stay by the river in between motivational speeches. Willy Chris Farley was hilarious.........
  20. Jay, I can't even fathom all that you've been through and yet, as already pointed out several times, your positive attitude and outlook are inspiring. You say you're not tough? Huh, I don't know too many people that would be thumbs up and socializing with his Jeep bros 2 weeks after losing part of their leg. Your level of toughness for physical pain may have been less than you thought, but your mental toughness is absolutely incredible. I too thank you for your service. I am certain we'd all like to be kept up to date throughout your recovery, maybe you could do it with a thread in the project section because I know the end result will be way cooler than any rig in there! Dude.....
  21. there were some on ebay for awhile, @$45 each side. also, check here also.... http://www.shermanparts.com/index.html
  22. Yeah that truck was actually an xj front end, i.e. including "cab" put on an MJ frame and then an XJ rear grafted on to the bed. IIRC, the tailgate was actually from the hatch of an XJ also ans was made to swing open. there was another MJ IIRC was in CO and the guy had worked in 97+ XJ tailights. Real nice job, was a dark blue truck. And our same member that spotted it a few years ago saw it again recently and snapped updated pics. The original pics it looked like it had been freshly painted etc. and the recent pics the truck had lost clear coat and started peeling. Could probably find in a search.
  23. wouldn't a facelift in the rear be a rearlift? or at least a buttlift? :smart:
  24. Yes, that is a damn good price for the ATK stroker. But I know nothing about these engines, and there isn't a whole lot of info on them in the Strokers forum either. The Golen and Titan strokers (about the same price) however have a lot of info there, mostly bad. Not because I have one, but you seldom see any bad feedback on the Hesco motors, except how expensive they are. Guess it's like anything else - you get what you pay for. :D Well, even though Mopar says upfront that they are built by ATK, Mopar still has it's name on it so you have to assume they have done some testing to feel confident about outsourcing it to ATK.
