Indeed thanks... I just had a long trip and the truck was ALL OVER THE PLACE on some badly maintained roads. Usually take a half day off and see my old school alignment shop that on the other side of town. Might be worth a phone call to see if they have shims before I go. Sounds like a new YJ item to pickup....just in case.

My favorite...so far....bluetooth head unit..Pioneer DEH-X6500BT.....full hands free....BT streaming.. ..with Pandora....$60 from a buddy/CC member. Have MJ console and seats ( just cleaned up ) set to be installed........ seats maybe tomorrow. Still need heater duct and bolt down brackets for the console (which came with the add-on cup holder).

good job putting the CC coozie in the shot.

Mine is.... But if you remove .....I would never take it off, for rotation or really any reason, without replacing the o-rings. They are so cheap and one of those things that if you don't you'll surely nick it re-installing and then a leak appears. Mine....sticking up... A simple search should get you plenty of "internet based assistance".

Not gonna start without that one installed correctly. CPS Crank Position Sensor Mounted....Driver's Side Bellhousing

86 Wagoneer Washington DC
ScottJeep replied to Bonkers's topic in Craigslist/eBay... i.e. Not Your Stuff
Yeah....after having a couple of XJs a Waggy XJ would be cool.... BUT I'd upset the Waggy purist by saying I'd rob the crap outta that thing for my 4WD conversion for the current MJ! And then sell about everything thing I didn't use. Front Clip ..... have invested too much in headlights already to jump over to four headlights Tail Lights ...THAT bolt in the bottom of these is a PITA to get at Chrome Chrome oh the chrome. Under Hood Light LOTS OF STUFF! They even have a little bushing around the door light switches. ( Yeah, I took those puppies also!) -

Now I have a coil spring question.
ScottJeep replied to Jeep Driver's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Well the first thing I would have to say is....it's your truck. You do use your truck AS A TRUCK. Props for that. While you didn't get what you paid for so first you must decide if you are going to do the whole return/money back/different new spring thing. Since you do use your truck as a truck I would think a little "enhancement" would help the truck. Now you just have to decide how you will deal with the front. Spacer, spring or combination. I've got ~ 3.5" lift running now..Mine is currently 2WD... and my front is via a 2" spring and JKS ACOS with RC Drop Brackets. Went this route because I did similar with my previous XJ and I wanted some options if I decide to go bigger if I move to 4WD. Mine rides a bit rough in my opinion from the AAL in the rear and the STIFF RC gas shocks all round. Good Luck. Have read several of your posts and like your approach of do it right...preferably ONCE. -

I can measure all this when I get home.... OR you could just buy it and not have to build anything! :) -
^^^^ What Rockfrog ^^^^ said. I thought I would never get it off. Had to take the same steps. Third one for me. But after everything ( valve, oil adapter, pan, rear main ) no leaks.

Still looking? I have everything you have described. Hit me with a PM and I'll pitch you what all I have. Thinking of just staying with my bench seat for now.

Well unfortunately, the closest I know of right now is Jacksonville.

Rear Axle Shock Mounting Plate Question
ScottJeep replied to HOrnbrod's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
After doing my lift and having issues with both the stud on that lower mount and the reinforcement plate I've decided to purchase these: http://www.currieenterprises.com/cestore/product.aspx?id=982 -
Had to share this one. http://www.govliquidation.com/auction/view?auctionId=8878975 Check the pictures of the interior. The Merc Unimog for sale is really what I'd drop some coin on. http://www.govliquidation.com/auction/view?auctionId=8896696 (If my lottery number hits. ) And this would be to just add to my Jeep collection and carry the trash to the dump.

New mass backing Carpet - Grey $125
ScottJeep replied to NHMJXJ's topic in Craigslist/eBay... i.e. Not Your Stuff
Hmmmmm...cut a patch from under a seat.... esp if you don't have 4WD. If it is not super thin carpet a good carpet guy should be able to pull off pretty easily one would think. DISCLAIMER: I am NOT a carpet guy!
