  2. 10 minutes maybe... get a diagram of the belt cuase youll be like... YES I GOT IT and then youll have to much slack.
  3. agreed glass packs aren't loud enough. but i have a solution.... 1/4'' drill bit
  4. Hemenechi hey there is a guy in Hampton who will put a sticker on your truck as long as it snot to loud. he won't check emissions. not sure where goffstown is. i live at UNH in durham
  5. depends on the tailshaft. you can do it but you need an adapter
  6. could be a bad "filter" from the breather for oil and causing oil to go into the throttle body. try disconnecting the line from the intake and plugging the hol ein the intake. then go down the road and see if it still happens
  7. well... check fuel pressure in the rail. double check no air blockages. make sure you have your plug wires in the right spot. and be sure to check all plugs for a decent spark as spark plugs can be defective.
  8. a true "cold air" intake would be under the motor and in front of it, could also be placed in the wheel well (for sports cars).
  9. i woundnt worry about it ive seen tons of cars/trucks/minivans go 6 feet under and still make 14-15volts when running agian
  10. hmm... engine work is not worth it. to pull a block apart you have to have the block square tested and have the crank put on a balancer and same with the cam. id say save up for a decent used motor and then when yours $4!t$ the bed drop the new one in.
  11. it would be a good idea just as a precaution to get a voltmeter and check output from the alternator, should be around 14-15 volts
  12. check EGR valve. goes into the intake. disassemble it and clean it out real good. by any chance did you check the oil, air filter and fuel filter/pressure?
  13. well there is diff seals main seals oil leaks brakes vacume 4wd ps pump exhaust front u joints d-shaft u joints. kickers obviously and random holes but you know all about that.
  14. i put a few hundred on my truck with fresh oil and it went black. I'm sure it was still working but black oil is bad
  15. dude, lick and stick
  16. yeah i believe so 4 speakers at 80 watts 2 ohms
  17. well that was quick.... alrigth lets see here. what is bridging exactly and when i hook it up do i need to worry about wires? i have speaker wire will this due for power and such?
  18. hmm... not to hijack or anything... i have a JBL amp and I'm going to be putting it in my truck soon and I'm wondering if some one cal tell me what "x over" "High level"mean? and on the other side where the outputs are there ar the connections for power. one says "rem" its a bit small. does this mean remote or am i delusional?
  19. well i would grab your ratchet and double check that all the bolts are snug as they may have loosened up when the motor was running
  20. well you need an EGR for inspection. The guy up here was giving me crap for not having an EGR on my 81. besides you would want an EGR. better fuel economy and it dosent idle as rough, oh and more power too
  21. wildman, i disagree, ive done 70 and went into 4wd and driven on the street and all that in 4wd, no stretched chain no craks nothin. but not saying its good. maddzz1, if there is snow on the road or anything along those lines, feel free to drive in 4HI
  22. 4.5 coils with acos should bring you up enough. if your lucky you may be albe to run the 34x9.5 TSL with some more trimming
