  1. thats the one. when you don't have a job, it works great
  2. walmart has some lights that i am also thinking about putting above the bed. the one i have has a black frame&housing, blue lens and is rectangular, 2''x6'' or something like that. just not sure how to put it on as i don't want to drill. anyone ever tried that new stuff from the guy who did oxy clean? the clay stuff. sorry to jack your thread
  3. if your going to get new leafs then why pay extra for another leaf when you could just got some with more arch?
  4. GAYYYYYYYYYYYYY How ghey is it.... I can run 5" of lift and fit 35" boggers and still be legal no problem... I guess that must be ghey to run a set-up like that..... not legally you can't, mj's didnt come with 31's. up here you can find t100's with 2' lift kits, (no joke i saw one two weeks ago at napa)
  5. GAYYYYYYYYYYYYY
  6. up here if you have a cowl hood its usually 3'' or better. most people run 4''-5'' on there street/strip cars
  7. i wouldnt do that. id find a place that does leaf springs and get a new set made up. the only reason to add another leaf would be for hauling. if you don't haul that much then its not worth it. adding another leaf as you probably already know will just make for a stiff ride, plus you loose flex on the trails
  8. why square and not tube for the frame?
  9. check drag link and pitman arm
  10. chevy ones fit nicely... try cabelas they have some decent camo covers (and solid too but camo is better)
  11. well if i were you.... just kidding, if you want to go +2" then run your cherry bomb backward. this will give you some more back pressure and sound just as nice. and if you follow my advice, then no chrome
  12. thats fine i run 3 1/2'' headers to 3'' to a muffler and ive got tons of power. 2.5'' for 4liters is definatly nice, but i would prefer a 2 1/4''. i say go ahead if you run into trouble just put on a neck at the tip
  13. i don't think a higher rear end lift will do much. as for steering yes it will. when turning ar higher speeds there will be more body roll, braking will be less effective because less weight will be on the rear as you lift it higher then the front
  14. i roll in 2' of water and 1' of mud sorry no pics (snow on ground, no recovery "team" right now)
  15. hmm... rocks??
  16. hmmm sounds hi tech. what ever happened to the little metal things that you hit with a hammer to balance your tires and wheels?
  17. hmmm, up here in jesus land, it goes from 0 in the night and then 2 days later 60 during the day. now that does a number on plastic. just out of curiosity do you wheel at 4 peaks?
  18. hey CW are those drums up front?
  19. LOL... just spit sunkist all over the puter screen... thanks guys!! CW AHAHHHAA EXCELLENT
  20. ahh yes the passenger car 10 bolt. that is the 7.5'' ring gear, no thats up front on the 1/2 tons. the rear is the stronger of the two 10 bolts. pulling an axle.... lets see now, I'm a quick worker how long would it take to do this? (yes i have air tools)...(including a 7'' angle grinder if the spline count isnt what i want it to be :brows: )
  21. you read the directions??
  22. GM 10 bolt 8.5'' came out of a blazer but GM used two or three different spline counts
  23. so I'm thinking about spooling the rear and I'm confronted with three different axle shaft spline counts. is there an easier way to check spline count other then puling the shaft out?
