  1. It shows it fully in the picture before it. :P
  2. Valvoline VV205 VR1 Racing Formula SAE 10W-30 Turbo Approved Motor Oil Plenty of ZDDP content and cheaper than the break in oils that go overboard on ZDDP.
  3. They can be rolled back, but require removing the factory sealed plastic pieces. It is really obvious when they are put back in place with glue.
  4. I have one I am looking at right now that I think I could get them down to $500 for it. Just has electrical issues and needs death wobble repairs.
  5. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WD-40 "WD-40 is the trademark name of a penetrating oil and water-displacing spray. It was developed in 1953 by Norm Larsen, founder of the Rocket Chemical Company, in San Diego, California. WD-40, abbreviated from the phrase "Water Displacement, 40th formula,"[1] was originally designed to repel water and prevent corrosion,[2] and later was found to have numerous household uses."
  6. The inner right fender is going to have significant damage and will need inspection around the door hinges for ripples. This damage is repairable, but generally it requires taking a cut from another XJ to do so. As well, with how far that bumper is pushed in there may be damage at the front frame. Fixable? Yes, but certainly much easier to sell it for parts.
  7. The picture is blurry, but there should be two grooves on the side of the thrust bearing. The other chipping is not standard. All of these bearings have the signs of over heating and oil starvation. You should get the crankshaft inspected for damage and get it sized to make sure your get the correct size bearings. If any of this metal particulate is still in the oil passages the block will need to be professionally cleaned as well to remove them. This is what good bearings and crankshaft journals look like after 220,000 miles of proper care. http://imgur.com/a/e8vip#0
  8. Spraying rust converter would have been better. WD-40 just makes everything worse, but people keep using it.
  9. This looks a lot like Motion Offroad's/Adam's Comanche that was sold on eBay.
  10. The O-Rings around the injectors may be the culprit. Standard Motor Products #SK9 - $3.53 on RockAuto.com If the injectors are cracked you will need to replace the entire injector.
  11. Cut with a little extra metal over hang and roll the edge for the professional look along with extra strength. That or just cut it will work!
  12. The wheel opening is a bit longer than a Cherokee, but where that rust is a cut from a two door Cherokee could be used to fill it.
  13. Second week of January, horrible sickness with bronchitis. Two weeks later, still have the horrible cough and pretty much any odd ball bending over that bends my chest area sends me into a horrible coughing fit. Before that I did get the rear axle pulled and set the D44 under there. The new u-bolts arrived and I lazilly installed a couple before having to cough away. Half of last week was flying to PA trying to visit my father's side grandmother one last time. It was a funeral by the time I arrived less than 24 hours later. :/ At least I got to revisit my mother's side grandmother a couple times. That is 3/4 grandparents within six months. ._.
  14. All 2012 JK models with the automatic transmission come with an external transmission cooler. However, that is the same year Jeep swapped over for the newer, heavier duty, and better Mercedes-Benz W5A580. So basically the 2007 to 2011 JK gets shafted with the 42RLE that really requires an external cooler and they finally get around to making that cooler stock after ditching the 42RLE.
  15. Once the module is programmed for a PCM it is tied to it. It can no longer be reprogrammed.
  16. I was trying to figure out how to use a hoist to lift the bed off! The pieces of wood under the rails are perfect.
  17. http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php Anchor 2569 - $4.96 Anchor 2571 - $8.42 Anchor is the brand I use in all my Jeep motor mount replacements.
  18. TextEdit is for simple text editing. TextMate and similar supports code highlighting, symbols, and a bunch of other code related features.
  19. No, absolutely NO! Just posting it on the internet does not make it public property. The act of publishing the work on the internet is in fact declaring copyright on it. It is still copyright infringement and it is entirely possible for Dirteatr717 to serve a legal notice against Craigslist for its removal.
  20. Replacement 2003-2004 manual PCM - $200 Rebuilt/Varied Dealer Cost New SKIM - $100 Plus other expenses.
  21. Nope, I code everything using a simple text editor(TextMate) for OS X.
  22. Git(Such as github.com) or Mercurial(bitbucket.com) for repistory control. Subversion just is not up to par anymore. We code in C#, Objective-C, PHP, and Python at work.
  23. Should had wrapped the code tags around it! <?php Tabs rule! ?>
  24. Some people like them, but only if they actually work!
  25. Yes, the two spoke 1997-2002 TJ steering wheel is the same as the 1997-2001 XJ steering wheel.
