Ls2xjcomanche Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 I know this won MJOTM within the last couple years and there was an extensive build thread, but haven't been able to find it. Any chance it was removed? Any way amazing rig, wish I could afford it! 1989 Jeep Comanche MJ - Nut&Bolt RestoMod | Hazard Buildz
ghetdjc320 Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 That was @USN_JeepMJ’s project. It’s in epic tech. Looks like someone finished up a few odds and ends. Here’s the link:
Smokeyyank Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 That's clucking nuts. Was listed on eBay for 50k last year. Not sure what the 35k price increase is for. Other than wheels, tires and a sticker looks the same.
Big_Mark Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 LOLOLOL I love it when people think because the spent $50k upgrading their Jeep that they can sell it for $50k. Bwah ha ha ha ha!!
Big_Mark Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 With that said that does look like a $15-$20k Comanche for sure

ghetdjc320 Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 I think we’re being a bit harsh here. That was probably one of the best builds we’ve had the pleasure of watching take shape. We rarely get to see such rigs for sale. Market determined it was worth 50k when it sold recently. If it goes even higher than that, I think that’s just a testament to the level of craftsmanship that went into it. Only unfortunate thing is someone else profiting off of another persons hard work. But it still goes to show the level of build that was done here. This isn’t your typical modded MJ. Nor is it about the money spent overall as much as it about the quality of the build and the effort put into designing such a rig. To me, this stands as a solid example of how a well thought out and well executed build can really stand out from the crowd.
robfg67 Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 The classic car market is soft right now. With that being said, that truck would sell for significantly more than $20k, but not $85k...ever.
ghetdjc320 Posted December 17, 2025 Posted December 17, 2025 It already sold for 50k recently and that was well deserved. I could see it going for more. This truck is in the upper echelons of most Comanche builds. If you wanted to buy something like a new Raptor but wanted to stand out from the crowd, this would be a good direction. Different market than most MJ’s see.
Jeeper1093 Posted December 17, 2025 Posted December 17, 2025 Definetly one of the finest XJ builds on the planet. True Craftsmanship! The market will determine what it is worth and it's worth whatever somone is will to pay for a true one of a kind build!
Red Mistress Posted December 17, 2025 Posted December 17, 2025 I appreciate this quality build, it's over the top no doubt

I would've happily paid 50K for it and had reached out to the dealership, but it had already sold. Love the build, but like you said the "seller" is taking credit for what? changing the wheels and adding some graphics lol... either way hope it goes to a good home! Thanks for sharing the build thread!
