He’s got a point though. They had some of the coolest colors and coolest options available.

It's crazy to me how much less desirable the XJ got (to me personally) interior and trim wise as the years went on. My 89 Wagoneer was miles nicer than my 95 XJ.

I've noticed this, the older ones are far nicer inside.  I just took my MJ with buckets on a 4 hour trip this weekend, and was really impressed with how comfortable it was.

Jason Camesia's XJ video was excellent, like all of his Revelations videos.

Even the bench seats aren’t bad. I spent 4 hours on a very broken bench and wasn’t sick of it until well after the 3 hour mark. And the buckets are light years better than the benches.

Heather really likes the MJ bucket seats, good thing since we often drive for several long day in a row in it. She absolutely hates the split bench seat in my 05 Ram.

it is a shame that they went from offering so much interior variety that you could realistically get whatever you want... to: you can still get whatever you want, as long as what you want is grey or maybe tan. :sad2:

Sounds like that old model T sales pitch..

Though I hate to admit this but damn the buckets are comfy. My XJ has turned me against my MJ.
