Selling my NOS in the box tailgate. As much as I like having it as a piece of art, I am gone too much to really appreciate it. I don’t foresee myself ever putting it on an MJ either.
It’s exactly what you can expect for an NOS piece. It is ready to be painted and installed or could be hung up in a house or garage. I’d be happy to get more pictures for anyone interested.

they do look snazzy hung up on your wall. :D

Agreed, they do. But my parents don’t want it hung up in the house in case it were to fall and I don’t have a reasonable way to get it to AZ at this point, so all it’s doing is sitting in its box. And it’s far too nice for that.

Parts NEED to be used.

Yes! That’s what they were built for

As long as OEM parts are kept from the scrap guy, use them as you please!

I had an old 1980s HP logic analyzer. It still worked but was just old and large, and I already had 3 others. I put it on craigslist free and put it at the curb. A scrap guy came by and chucked it straight into his truck. I heard the CRT tube explode when I looked up from my yard work. What an A$$. If I knew it was going to be scrapped, I'd save some parts from it. Jeez man. It had barely any metal in it.
