Thanks. I haven’t had a chance to make a prototype harness yet. One of my room mates just moved out over the weekend and thus was helping him pack and prep. I will try to get one in the works shortly.

Sign me up, I will need one.  I refuse to cut the harness to put in aftermarket lights :comanche:

With the recent release of the LED's, I was just curious if you have/ are still planning to make a prototype?

Given my busy life and the fact they changed the connector from weatherpack to a newer style from Delphi, I have decided that this is something I won’t be able to pursue. I apologize to everyone. If I find a spare moment and if I get a pic of the current plug, I can do some digging and look into doing this.

How were you planning to make it? Maybe if I have some time I could gather materials and try it out. Just buy the same gauged wire and solder the respective reproduction connectors to the ends, right?

I have the connectors for the tail lamp harness at the body and I have plenty of wire I can use to make the harnesses, but getting those new style connectors wouldbe been a challenge for me to try to find without a dozen trial and error. So if you want to take this on, I can send what I have if you are interested. A lot of the wire i have came from my work that are scrap harnesses.

Did some quick google searching and zooming in on their website pics and it seems to be that this is the connecter they're using:

I have a set of the oracle lights at my house but I will not be home till Friday night. Will verify if these are the matching connectors then. If they are, I'll PM you about shipping the material.

Sounds good. Shoot me a PM. I can say they are in the Delphi family. I’ll do some digging too to help expedite the process.

Looks like sealed metri.

TE AMP family. I can pull the mating part number tomorrow. Ampseal connectors are nice. They are used in tons of automotive applications.

Just ask the guys at Oracle to verify.

From my experience, good luck getting them to reply to anything.

Send me what info ya need in a PM. I live close by and am picking my set up in person instead of paying for shipping. I don't mind asking while I'm there.

I don't need anything from them now, there was an issue and I got an automated email about my pre-order. When I emailed them about it I got no response, even after 3 separate emails.

More of just an anecdote of how they didn't attempt to communicate with a customer who had just spent a few hundred dollars with them.

Just ask them what brand/ part number they sourced the electrical connectors for their MJ taillights (part #5909)
