88mjsally
I figured we needed a thread for this since we didn’t have one. A place to show off good xj/mj junkyard scores and junkyard Jeeps. I’ll start with my most recent haul mostly from a 86 xj that was way too clean for a junkyard

The86manche
My most recent find. From last weekend. And right by my house! Poor thing was a plow jeep and was ran hard and put away wet. But there were so many good things inside the cab. A mint rear window gasket and solid pain rear window wrapped in cardboard. 6 or so b pillar lights. Drip rails. I think the bench seat was minty on this one. The body was very chewy though.
The86manche
This one was from over the summer. Steve from motor trend was doing youtube videos of junkyard crawls in Massachusetts! And the one he has been videoing was about an hour and a half from me. I ended up meeting him there! And the owner of the place told me there was 1 mj in the brushes. Ended up being this 86. Base model. 2.5 4 speed 4x4 with skid package. I didn't get a chance to get the skids but I got a few things off of it. I remember it being so hot that day and I almost got heat stroke! The86manche
This one is one my best friends brother told me the location of. It's actually not even a junkyard it was a service center and there were renix jeeps all in the woods in the back. I ended up convincing the same guy who told me about it to buy the jeep and he now owns it. However.. not before I picked some pieces off of it haha. 88mjsally
A couple pics from one of my favorite yards which has a bunch of Cherokees and 3 comanches that I found. It’s such a mess that I’m sure there’s probably 1 or more still hiding in the stacks of cars
Pete M
we've got a bunch of "junkyard finds" threads if anyone wants to gather up some of the most recent ones for me to combine into a master thread. also, I got this on "all you can carry" day last month. plus crossmember, shifter, and clutch, etc. plus a steering column. plus a few other things because once you get that first thing, everything else is free. (assuming you can carry it 60ft of course)
Manche757
Is that a full set of turbines?
FrankTheDog
If anyone finds an unused stock full size standard 5 spoke aluminum spare from the late 80’s early 90’s I’d be interested in it. Preferably still in its spare tire cover. I have 3 so far and could use a couple more.

Eagle_SX4
Here is my haul from an '87 Limited Cherokee Clean black Cluster trim with steering column piece, black hockey stick arm rests with trim, black AMC front seatbelts, nearly complete factory electrical schematics, spare throttle body to bore out. Couldn't pass on the black and grey limited door cards in mint condition. 87 1/2 these will be much better than the carpet pouches my current door cards have.
