89 MJ
I bought a really rough 90 a few weeks ago (that I parted out) for $375. Decent interior, decent tails, AX-15, and a topper. I think the prices for these nice trucks is going up quickly. My guess would be because the people who had them as first vehicles or just have fond memories in them (in general, lets say people 30+) are getting to a point that they have some money that they can have fun with. CGCWO
12/24/20: 1987 SWB Pioneer 4x4 auto 4.0 Renix fair interior, rusted floor boards, bad paint (clear coat mostly gone) some minor front fender damage (rear of fenders) suspect from mis-aligned doors. Ran rough, trans slow to shift, but overall I drove it home 9 miles for $2800. Probably to much... and found a lot of little issues after digging in. 1/15/21: 1986 XLS LWB 4x4, partial 3.4 swap, non-driver with a bed full of spare parts/junk. Busted grill and header panel, sun rot on rear flares and mis-matched tailgate good interior with original buckets, full console and headliner. Delivered for $1200. Pioneer will have around $6-7 in when it’s a daily. won't be for sale. XLS no clue yet as to where I am going with it. If I can get it done and reliable it will likely go to my 30 year old son. Then we will need one more to pass them all down the the twin grandsons and their little brother.
Muncher
Payed to much $3800 bought it in Putnam Connecticut. It's a 87 4.0 4x4 5 speed. In very good condition only 73k miles on it. Also basically immediately spent more money then I bought it for already and am now broke. But on the good side I basically just need my bumper to come in and to do brakes and she will be ready for the road.

scaleless
'87, 4.0, 2wd, flooded, $300, including free mud! There were also free plants growing in the bed! It was basically Christmas. This was back at the tail end of 2019.

It had been picked up from the front with a forklift and it destroyed the tie rod. Had to cut it to steer it on the trailer.

Cody_Hamill
$2300 for mine. The guy paid $2800, but it wouldn't pass smog, so he couldn't register it.
