Two weeks later...

I put 1.5 inches wheels spacer on the rear and a 1 inch bloc to lift the rear.

Alignment and ready for summer.

 I'm wonder why did u put 1 inch block in rear to lift? From what i can see in pic ur leafspring under the axle so if u add 1 inch block that will lowered ur rear down. Do u really mean 1 inch longer shackle?

The paint and decals look excellent. Was this truck in Canada it’s whole life? It just looks so clean (body wise) and such low miles. Somebody took care of her.

Yes it always been to Canada. The truck was bought in 1988 in Drummondville. I'm the 4th owner.

It does. Do you ever plan on making it 4x4?

Sometimes I think about making it 4x4. But I only use it on summer season and only to do some roadtrips. Maybee I'll do it when I want to camp in the wood.

I did some gnarly things with my old truck when it was 2wd. :D  the key is not going alone and having solid tow points front and rear. :L:

Mopar had an add-on piece that gave you the option of running 4 lights across. My '89 MJ had it when i got it. It basically fit over the 2 original rollbar tabs. Mount 2 middle lights into the add-on piece and then mount the outer 2 lights and you're done. That's how it was done in Mopar aftermarket land. I think there's a pic of it in a Jeep accessory book 1990. Looks like this MJ owner mounted the middle lights differently.

Thanks G. Do you happen to have that accessory book and can send a pic?

Or do your want to sell the one from your '89? I think it would be at home with it's original engine!:brows:

I was thinking of cutting down a piece of angle iron or maybe flat stock to span the tabs.

How did you install the middle two lights on your roll bar? Any close-up pictures of the mounting? Thanks.

I drilled two holes, then I intalled two threaded nuts inside the holes.
