86FUBAR Posted September 4, 2007 Posted September 4, 2007 The paint looks bada$$ , it really matches the truck but whats with the gap between the cab and bed , looks alittle off.
jeepaholic Posted September 4, 2007 Author Posted September 4, 2007 bed was just sat back on...not bolted down at that point..hence the screwwy gap.
offroader461 Posted September 4, 2007 Posted September 4, 2007 The paint looks bada$$ , it really matches the truck but whats with the gap between the cab and bed , looks alittle off. :agree: yea the paint is awesome....looks like the bed is tilted up toward the back causing the gap to be smaller at the top than the bottom....still looks just awesome...keep up the good work
jared Posted September 4, 2007 Posted September 4, 2007 looks great man. is that really 12'' lift?
1999MJ Posted September 4, 2007 Posted September 4, 2007 Not really fond of the flame job but the paint and body work itself looks great.
A-V Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 Really dig the flamejob on this one Looks hot ;)
rockhardzj Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 did you buy that wheel and tire combo off my buddy? Paint looks great!
Masscrawler Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 Looks like OUTSTANDING body work and cool paint job to top it off.
1999MJ Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 How are the road manners with that much lift? Does it wonder? Get alot of bump steer?
beaterjeep Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Wow, I'm liking it a LOT. Makes me want to get my rear in gear and get my 88 painted.
jeepaholic Posted September 6, 2007 Author Posted September 6, 2007 Cab alone took me and my uncle 15hrs to paint. Yes it has a front drive line in it..Tires are 36" TSL on Pro Comp wheels (4wheel performance)..And yes to best of my figurin I got about 12" of lift or so..Driving charac..Dunno yet..Figure I will suit up the crash test dummies in about another week or so. :dunce:
LEAD_NOT_FOLLOW Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Why do you need 12" of lift to clear 36's?
jeepaholic Posted September 6, 2007 Author Posted September 6, 2007 1. I think it looks cool. :D 2. I didnt want to cut fenders to avoid scrubbage. ;)
89eliminator Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Why do you need 12" of lift to clear 36's? why not?
comanche-man22 Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 i have a question is the lift on that all custom? and do you have a body lift?
89eliminator Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 i have a question is the lift on that all custom? and do you have a body lift? the only part of the body you can lift is the bed, the rest is all unibody.
Renegade Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 I hafta admit I don't like flames unless they're on a Harley, but if it works for you, go for it. The wheel & tire combo looks nice. The lift is definitely on the tall side, but yet it looks so right :D
jeepaholic Posted September 7, 2007 Author Posted September 7, 2007 The lift is a combo of skyjacker coils/ ACOS/ sleeved d30/ increased coil bucket height :shake:
Teal J Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Looks good ! Did you ever fix some of your mountingand steering issuses ?
jeepaholic Posted September 7, 2007 Author Posted September 7, 2007 Nope..Just went to Truckfest and got lots of pictures of a nice setup that Fabtec had done.... :brows: ..Now its time to copy... :D Shouldnt take too long most of the right stuff is in place just tweak here and there and add a little more beef to tie into unibody.
