  1. My kind of ugly ride... :D
  2. There's a Jeep Pickup in the works, rumored based on the Dodge Dakota platform, with a Liberty-like front clip, and it'll be available with a Cummins diesel, but the birdie wasn't sure about it being a v-6 or inline 4...
  3. Sounds like my situation. She used to have a ZJ, but the engine died and she got a "PT LOOSER" as she calls it, she wants to go back to a Jeep of some sorts, and after seeing mine and my sister's Jeeps being lifted and worked on, shes edging into the lifted direction... I think I may have caught a good one :D
  4. Whoa whoa whoa.... This ain't Myspace.... Merry Happy X-Mas, Merry Hanaucha or however you spell it...???? Enjoy whatever other holiday you may celebrate as well!
  5. Glad I could be of assistance. Makes me happy every time someone tells me their success story. I've added more lists for other Jeeps too, and I can make lists for just about any kind of thing you can possibly imagine on craigslist. I can also change it for other types of websites as well, similar to craigslist, so long as they have an RSS feed available.
  6. Has anybody noticed, all the news thats been coming up lately revolves around just complete stupidity and retarded people? And if its not that, the news seems to show the complete wrong side of the story!!! Doctors taking pictures of patients tattoos, kids who beat their little siblings to death like mortal kombat, teen in college who had a secret other side of being a porn star that gets murdered... Like seriously, wtf does a doctor need a picture of a persons tattoo that reads "hot rod" for? Why are underage teens drinking alcohol, and then beating their little sibling to death mortal kombat style, and then wait 15 mnutes to realize the girl is dead before calling an ambulance?? and The Teen girl who was a good college student, making cash on the side by doing some modeling porn? seriously, who cares that she was a small time porn star, she was murdered, and didnt deserve it, yet they focus on the fact that she had a secret life in porn! theres a bunch of other stuff too, but its surprising how much is just plain dumb news, and how far it gets blown out of proportion and such... And who the hell cares that Barrack Obamma tried drugs... how does trying drugs make you a dealer? Bill Clinton tried drugs and nobody gave a $#!&, so why hate on the black guy? Also, who cares that Hilary Clinton has the same financial backing for the race as Bill Clinton, I mean come on, if I ran for something, and then some years later my wife or kid ran for the same position, who really gives a flying poop that they have the same financial backing for the race in candidacy? Sorry, just a little venting, but hoping people see the same thing happening that I do...
  7. Can you find the odd one? :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: 8. 98 29 Spline in my 88, and it's even got discs! :D:D:D
  9. 89 Ranger XLT with a 2.9L 6 pack and a 5 speed. I rolled it :( I still kind of miss it, the MJ will be my first (street driven) pickup since it...
  10. Here's a question. Can I borrow it for a few days? I promise I'll play nice, that is on the trails! :D
  11. Hmm... Wonder why mine has one then... :brows:
  12. I do too. It's in pretty much mint shape too!
  13. The 44, I believe is a direct bolt on. I installed my ZJ Disc brake parts on my MJ's new rear axle which is a 8.25 out of a 98 XJ, all it took was about 45min of gently reaming the tube hole out a slight bit, and bolting it all on. The ZJ stuff is DEFINITELY worth getting, but I wouldn't pay more than 175 for everything.
  14. It's Christmas! They are in, I just have to go pick the stuff up now!
  15. Come on Pete, you know you want this feature! It helps me keep track of my truck's cost...
  16. I was really hoping you were the one on the left! Can I borrow her for a day, or maybe a week? I promise to return her in the same condition I borrowed her in Isnt that pretty much the same as drawing with a sharpie on a drunk person's face when they are passed out? I am definitely digging the blue! :brows: It answers a lot of questions! But there's still one i have... Can I have the diesel outta that dodge for my next project??? Oh, and here's me: I'm the one with all the wrinkles... in the shirt that is!
  17. I got rid of the drop brackets long ago... I've since received about 25 or so PM's about people who want these things. Apparently, I don't see any bright side to them, but at any rate, they are long gone.
  18. I have a Mio c310x, and I added a few more maps to it, but i wouldnt trade it for anything else. I have a year of use on it, cost me $150 last black friday at circuit city. it has voices you can understand, but the only thing i see it lacks is mostly just that it doesnt know street names, unlike a Garmin.
  19. 4wd Hubs. I compared the hubs off an XJ, and a WJ in advance, and they are the same size knuckle side mounting surface and everything except the wheel mounting surface. I'm not sure if the didge van has the same width axle in the back or not, so your on your own for finding that out, or at least until I decide to go forth with the effort some day...
  20. I hope you mean a higher boiling point. Lower would be bad as it would boil sooner!
  21. hummm... :hmm: you know that might work.. the wj is a grand right? Yep. I've tossed the idea of getting the rear 8.25 from a dodge van or a Dakota or something, and buying new hubs, and moving up in the bolt patters, but hubs are crazy expensive, and I personally wouldn't really want to swap in a used one, beyond a trail spare to get home with. If you do move to the 5x5 setup, you should do a writeup, I think it would be a first, and not all that tough of a job. All new Jeeps, I think are that pattern, but I'm not sure on the libby, it might be the only one left with 5x4.5...
  22. Now, I'm not going to rip on Motion's setup, but by the looks and sounds of it, you still use your stock upper arms, which in my opinion is lame, but maybe I'm not seeing the whole picture here. I can't say anything for their quality myself, but from the I think 2 reviews I saw, they seem to be decent for the price. It's a Rock Krawler 3 link setup and uses 1 aftermarket upper arm. It'll flex better than any other control arm setup available... Did you even look at the pic of the kit? Good pic from the classifieds - http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6460 I did see that picture, but I was thinking it was a new trackbar, but now that you mention it, Its a bit bulky for one. In the pictures on their website, it is hidden from view for the most part, and therefor I had thought it would use short arms. Did I NOT say I may not be seeing the whole picture?

  24. I got the one off my neighbor's car before it went into the demo derby this year. It came out of a 95 caprice classic PD car. I'm not even sure in going to use it gotta see what in all comes home this week...
  25. get the shafts and hubs off a 99+ WJ, it will carry everything you need, if the rear is a D44, all the better, it ain't hard to cut brackets off and weld new perches on...
