Rubicon Express has a full MJ kit, only avail in a 5.5" flavor. its the rear thats hard to find different lifts for, without doing something custom, or a SOA.

I just had the best turkey ever! My step bro thought up of the recipe. smoke the turkey, stuffed with chopped apples, raisins, and brown sugar, and basted in pretty much a sauce of whats inside, along with using wood to burn it from an apple tree for added flavoring. He smoked it from 3am till about 6:30pm. The gravy had some apple juice mixed in to go with the turkey, and it made for an excellent meal! Happy turkey day everyone!

97 Brake peddle assembly
rockhardzj replied to CEThomas's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
If I remember correctly, the 97+ mounts to a higher point. I should know this, because I installed all that stuff in my MJ already, but It's been a while, and I'm in florida for the weekend. If there isnt a definite answer by the time I get back home, I'll take a look under my ash, and compare to my spare pedal set... -
97 Brake peddle assembly

I don't think so, not without modification. 97 started the new style dash, and the pedal assemblies, IIRC are a bit different in how the tops are. -
I bought my truck with a 5.5" lift kit, but the front had the drop brackets, which I don't like. I tried a set of adjustable short arms maxed out in length, but the geometry of the suspension just wouldn't work, even if I had an engine and everything installed, it would have been a terrible ride, and bad flex. I was deciding between the RE kit and the Clayton's kit, and ultimately decided he 200 dollars more it costs for skid plates would be the wiser decision, considering I intend to play on the rocks. The flex will definitely be improved, and will allow for a much smoother ride quality than with short arms. I *MAY* end up going with coils in the rear later next year, but I want to get the feel of the truck first, as I want it to be on the road shortly.

:???: Tax? You're in New York. Clayton is in Connecticut. RE is ... somewhere other than New York. WHAT tax is "included"? There's no tax unless the vendor has a physical presence (meaning a store, office or warehouse) in your state. he bought it through a buddy who does sales n such, you have to pay the tax through them, it was the same when i priced some RE stuff through my local shop/buddy Yup, supporting friends has consequences of paying the state's bills...

those newer dodge vans use them, i'm not a follower of the vans, so I couldnt tell you the years, but they have the 5 on 5.5 pattern...

we just gots rain....

good name, and includes a skid package. It also supports my buddy, so theres a few factors.

Yep, just ordered the RE kit. Got a great deal on it, and it has the integrated skid package, so it will have some protection under it now. my choices were down to these two: Rubicon Express RE6330 - 1012 shipped w/tax included (skids included) Clayton's UK-XJ - 800 shipped w/ tax included (no skids included) RE has quite a few of this package in stock, ready to ship, and mine will be out the door before the end of the day!

http://daytona.craigslist.org/car/462000884.html funny read, i saved a copy if it gets taken down...

I don't think the coil is supposed to be mounted like that... joking aside, glad to hear she is unharmed. at least thats a fairly easy fix. I can cut the coil buckets off my spare d30 axle if you want them, cost would be $5 each for the labor and sawzall blades plus shipping. they are practically brand new looking with a few spots of light surface rust.

I have a pair of good ones you might be able to talk me out of... I would find of prefer axle attached mounts...

stop by, or maybe call the closest hospitals to him, and see if he's in any of them. if he is, and can be visited, go see him for all of us, I'm sure he'd really appreciate it.

john stewart, and stephen colbert!

I have a few AW4's, one is a 96, the other a 98. the 96 is perfectly fine, the 98 is missing the bell housing, and needs a new oil pump, and torque converter. it also needs the shifter bracket.

there a way to contact his parents? how far from you does he live?
