Baby blue Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 4.5 up front and 4 in back. Trying to figure out tire size. This is a pavement princess any opinions much appreciated.
FrankTheDog Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 What gear ratio are you going to be running? I have 265/70/16's which are close to the same diameter as 31's. I have maybe an inch over stock and they rub some but not horrible. With 4" lift I would run 265/75/16's. You might be able to get away with 33/10.50/15's. 31's wouldn't be horrible but you would have plenty of clearance.
75sv1 Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 I have 31s on 4.5 lift. Plenty of clearance. Looks a bit small, and I don't like the stuffed tire look. sorry no pics. I haven't regeared yet. I do have 4:10's planned and have the axel and front gears. Does OK with stock tires on the road. I am also going to 16" rims and one of the metric tires that would be about 31.5.
88whitemanche Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 3.5" lift and 31s and cut fenders... 4.5" and 32s and cut fenders....
88whitemanche Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Love the setup with 32s. Thanks It will be back into that stage hopefully by the end of the year...
Jackrabbit41 Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 I had a 6 inch lift with 31 bfg ats for a few weeks and it looked a little weird but I wasn't too bad so I bet 4.5 would look fine
outlaw star Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 4.5" RE coils in front, 5" SUA leaf pack in back on 31" tires.
86FUBAR Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 My first lift on the manch was 4" on 31-11.5-15 thornbirds with IIRC 3.5" back spacing . They fit great and the wider tire really off set any funny looks that a skinny tire might have given it . They did rub at full stuff on the lower back part of the fender but it was probably an adjustment issue on my part as I had the teraflex adjustable control arms and should have added an 1" or so but o well.
GirsMJ86 Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 comancheclub.com Those are 31's, forget the lift size that thing had. Maybe Rob or someone else will chime in, don't feel like digging. I think it was only like 2/2.5" though. That's my personal favorite for stance if you're not going to go off-road really.
