Well trailer has did me well but spring is here and I'm headed north. Trailer is much of heavyweight and is a drag behind the gutless beast, reminds me of PA.  So going north uphill is not a option trying to tow my bike with as the trailer is 2000# by itself. And so good material and axles and decent tires that I had swapped out all by myself by a spoon and big crow bar. Keep telling myself it's so worth the price to have the fellas handle them with the machines. But I never learn. :dunno: so tearing it back apart to install on a lighter trailer frame settup that's was intended for my usual use. I did get a good deal on it and has served me well, however today I say goodbye. :shaking: sorry get hung up when it comes to losing work tools. :shaking: As I attempt to remove the Comanche bed liner, I'm regretting all the darn screws I used.  Honestly though it's the experience of building and tearing things down and seemingly getting better after each time or experience. Much like the Jeep Comanche. :grinyes: I have learned a lot over the years and this has been a great place to keep a history of my life experiences, in a Jeep. What would you know, I have turned into my Hero.. MacGyver. :teehee:

..And yes you do see that I pulled the doors off. It's about to be 68*.  Spring is in the city for sure. :comancheB:

Due to retorque leaf spring u bolts. They were quite loose and since I wheeled it once it is time to double check and retorque to 80ft#s.  Ok well time to replace wheel hub seal yet again. :shaking: all good. Checking things over and changing out diff fluid as well and reseal cover. Oh my what did I find....:sad2: appears my retainer bolt backed out and dropped in the case and the magnet seemed to save me from some serious grindage. :grinyes: left me a ring of good luck it seems. :teehee: well I reckon I fish the metal parts out and put it back together. Couple more days and northern bound for the next couple moons. :driving:

Bolt replaced and should be good enough for the upcoming road trip. Found an old tps so swapped that in and seems to be running better again. Now have to swap out a rear caliper as it seems to be hanging up. Thinking I knew this as I so happen to have the caliper on the shelf. :shaking: as you can see I found some paint as well.  :teehee:

Well not much messing in the Jeep, still doing work out of it though. Been tinkering on the trailer mansion and making another trailer to replace the one I left behind in the cityhood. Have no welder still, so as always, bolts and zip screws holding it all together. Mostly find me at the beach or the river. Enjoy.

One long week on the bike. I'm thinking it's about jeeping time. Got it back from shop as they had nobody that was able to install ubolts apparently.  :dunno:  So guess I'll just have to do it myself. Silly I must be to think "UP Offroad" shop be able to work on my offroad rig. Once you build them, you must keep working on it as you are the only one that knows what's under it and in it.  so plan to work on it this week and perhaps take a drive to the countryside which is just outside. :comancheB:20220816_113216.jpg.efb5da5919a23c3c519cba9cb11aad24.jpg
