I've heard them rusting in two, now I've seen it.

Not that uncommon in the rust belt. CJ's, YJ's, even TJ's...

It shows that even on a derelict rusted hulk like that, hidden goodies may be present. Like an elusive 2.5 aluminum valve cover? It's always wise to eyeball even the most rotten carcasses.

Been studying that pic all night and don't see anything wrong with it that a little Duct tape and coat of paint won't fix up.  :doh:

Not sure if the tape would be enough for that poor thing. I have personally seen a frame that someone tried to fix with rebar and concrete though. Might need a couple bags of mix for that one!  :yes:

For frame repair make sure that you use the chrome duct tape to get enough strength

my brothers 79 toyota pickup frame was rusted bad enough after its first trip offroad the frame cracked in half lol, had to jack the middle back up and patch it!

Guy in my jeep club has a 2000 TJ with less then 100k miles with a broken rusted frame.... Not good.
