Wow, that looks slick. Looks more like a school project rendering than anything Chrysler did, unfortunately. 

 

I would take a new Jeep pickup like that even if it had, gasp, IFS. That's easy enough to 'fix' :)

Overall I agree that it looks like a Toyota, the front strikes me as H2.

 

IF we were ever to see the Comanche name brought back, let us hope it is not based on the Cherokee this time around. I'd also really like to see something that ties it to the original, like cab vents or something strictly MJ so it isn't just another plain-jane mid size truck.

I have NO faith that Jeep will even try to make us happy should they make another small truck.  we are a very small niche community.  The XJ community is much much bigger and look what they brought out as the new cherokee.  :ack:

To me it looks like a Mazda B2300, the later ones with the stupid rounded front end. Just had one in the shop yesterday and it is a spitting image. Ill keep my 87.

Ya the biggest things are the lack of the upper body line and that instead of the hood being taller in the middle, its taller at the outside edges.

Just showing a cool drawing, I don't think it has anything to do with "Jeep".  I do not see a Jeep pickup coming anytime soon, especially with the JK8 crap they gave us for the JK. What a waste.
