That's right, I blame you guys for transforming my like for Comanches

into a full blown need to have one

Yesterday I went and picked up an 87 and I have not stopped smiling

since.  It has been pretty hacked up by the previous owner but it'll

be a great starting point for me

I'm excited to start wrenching on this thing and look forward to

talking Jeeps with everyone

Is that a Rustys Offroad front stinger winch bumper? I've been stuck between getting that or the Prerunner for quite awhile. If you don't mind, I'd love to see what it looks like from all different angles :D but great looking manche dude!

Nice, you snagged one of the 3 MJs in Colorado that isn't in Jim's yard.

Looks like a pretty nice rig.  Welcome

Knucklehead I took some pictures of the bumper for you. Pretty sure it's not a Rusty's bumper (at least not one they currently sale). I also noticed that the mounts are a little wider than the frame rails. Anyways here's some pics. The last is my favorite

Some people shouldn't be allowed to use a sawzall... This is the front passenger inner fender pinch seam

At least whoever cut it was smart enough to not cut the driver

And the rear fenders got pretty much brutalized

Is there a write up or does anyone have any good ideas on how to fix the rear fenders?

I'd cut a strip of sheet metal, use it to bridge the cab between the inner and outer fender, and just weld it all around, clean it up, and paint it. As long as your handy with a grinder it should look good when your done!

I'm in the exciting and fun filled town of Erie!  Where in Brighton are you?  I'm over in the shopping center area in Brighton on the east side of I-25 quite a bit.
