Rest of the brackets to mount the D60, Sterling 10.25" axle as well as spring perches and shock mounts for it, 5 Hummer double beadlocks with rewelded centers and used military 37x12.50 MT tires.

I think I got the D60 handled, don't know about the Sterling yet, wheels and tires can hopefully be bought with income tax return. If not it'll be a long time before it's gonna be on a trail again.

Renix 4.0 / complete harness and fuel sending unit; hell, a totaled XJ would work.

Been thinking a lot of upgrading the old girl as of late. Most likely won't happen, but I would like to do a tear-down of a 4.0 though.

Doubt I'll actually get any of that though. Seems I can't find any good donors around here worth the time to go get them.

A 55 gallon drum of POR and a quart of Scotch,,,,,,Or is that a quart of POR and a 55 gallon drum of Scotch?. Whatever. I'll be happy either way. :laughin:

Must be the latter. A quart of good Scotch is just a tease.

Nothing on the list for the Jeeps this Christmas

Long list for my Highrider, though.

...and it's in the driveway now! http://annarbor.craigslist.org/cto/3432402295.html the blue 98 in that listing. with the parts i'll use and the ones i'll sell before scraping what's left, i'll be ahead all said and done with a nice new frontend for my dd and another xj to flip/sell. yes i know what's involved in getting the 98 head in a 2000, but i have the whole truck so no problem.

Here is the '98 engine that went into my '01. You can probably spot the additional piece that was added to get the two-piece cast exhaust system to mate up properly...

TIME to work on the 87, hopefully get the old motor pulled, interior gutted, prep for HO conversion.

Possibly get the new motor done (assembled).

Got so many boxes of parts and pieces, don't really need to buy much more for it (GF really happy about that)

what with school, a job, and being a single parent, my MJ addiction always seems to come last.

Best part of my addiction is that I get to drive the Chief anytime I want....
