My 2008 Hyundai was only $9500...

And it was overpriced. :D (Just kidding)

What that loaded 91 MJ Eliminator sticker shows is that MJs obviously did not hold their value. The BIG $$ option was the Eliminator "Decor" group, cosmetics basically, for a whopping $3452. With the Big Ton package if offered for the HO years, or the D44 and towing suspension options, and the power window/mirror/seat options, an Eliminator could be well over $20K. What's that in today's dollars, $35 K or so? Damn, no wonder they stopped MJ production shortly thereafter. Of course, this was one of t methods of paving the way for the Dakota.

Very cool to see the orig. window sticker....... now, where do I go to see the actual truck! :D

My '91 Eliminator is equipped exactly the same, except mine's black and no cruise control.

It is kinda hard to "justify" these trucks ever being worth nearly $18K.......

I graduated from my Deputy Sheriff's Academy and started working as a cop in '91...... I never even had a Comanche on my radar when I went looking for my first new truck after I got my first paycheck..... I went straight to the Chevy dealership and bought a '91 S-10 4x4 extra cab short bed 4.3/5 speed and cloth interior. I paid just $14K for that truck....... maybe that's why I never even considered a Comanche.....

Yes it is a 91 MJ that I purchased from the original owner a few months ago for $1,800. As you can see he kept it in excellent condition and kept every receipt for work done on the truck. I plan to have it repainted after Thanksgiving and install a new Eliminator decal. It sure is fun to drive, plenty of get up and go!

The original owner was a Navy Seabee and had it repainted during one of his tours in Spain after an accident. The clear coat is peeling off in several places and he said the original color is a few shades lighter than the current color. I want to get it painted the original color. Also the Comanche logo's are missing and I guess they neglected to put them back. Not sure where I can get some replacements. It had 179,500 miles on the odometer when I purchased it.
