SW86 Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Right on. I knew smorr was good. Lots of guys have been down here, so I've heard about it. Flat nasty seemed more of a mud park. I won't be going anytime soon lol. Anytime you head down this way, give me a shout

SMORRs rocks were sticky. even the water covered ones provided a lot of grip.
JeepcoMJ Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Looks about time time to dovetail, wade. Glad to see it was a fun trip, and you had no mech. Failure.
JeepcoMJ Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 What mods to the kj backing plates were necessary in order to install on your 44? Xjrev is looking, check his thread in tech. We know a spacer is necessary, but I seem to recall you saying that the backing plates/caliper brackets bolted right on. I'd like to help get him set up since I have several spare sets of kj discs. Thanks
89eliminator Posted April 14, 2014 Author Posted April 14, 2014 probably gonna tube bed it if anything
JeepcoMJ Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Not a bad idea. I imagine the next project is that, new rock rails, and the fullsize front axle?
89eliminator Posted April 14, 2014 Author Posted April 14, 2014 rock rails are good now. i was going to do a cage next then axles.
89eliminator Posted April 15, 2014 Author Posted April 15, 2014 vid of me climbing Larrys Hill at SMORR https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10202673226805805&l=6525824266652113756
JeepcoMJ Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 It will only work with whomever is set to be able to see it. I can see it, marcel can see it, that means his content is limited to "friends of friends", or sw86 you may need to be signed I to facebook to see. Nice climb btw.
89eliminator Posted April 16, 2014 Author Posted April 16, 2014 i changed it to public so anyone should be able to see it.
SW86 Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 It worked after you changed the settings but YouTube is always the way to go. It looked good. Hopefully ill have a video coming up it soon
89eliminator Posted May 19, 2014 Author Posted May 19, 2014 this is the exact moment i re arranged my bed side side note, got this bad boy setup today...
89eliminator Posted June 15, 2014 Author Posted June 15, 2014 cage is done. gotta add spare tire mount and hi lift mount yet.
SW86 Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Yeah really one pic... Come on man, you know the business.. Haha
89eliminator Posted June 16, 2014 Author Posted June 16, 2014 yea yea yea lol. will get more pics up later.
89eliminator Posted June 16, 2014 Author Posted June 16, 2014 best i could get for an "aerial" photo lol hard to see but i tied into the door hinges. bottom is welded to the rock rails the top tubes are higher than i visually wanted but i had the tough decision of going tight to the cab or leaving enough room to sort of maintain the usability of the sun roof. since i hate hate HATE hot weather, i chose the later. rear view. after it was welded in i realized i probably should have continued the triangulation down to the mounts...
