Enough to make a grown Jeep lover cry.......

That's a $3500 MJ with a good running drivetrain. I assume the engine was shot since the tranny was sold. If you add up the parts he has sold and the other prices, he's only in the $1500 range. And look what he let the tail lights go for?! $20!! They probably could have swapped in another 4.0 from something in the yard and gotten a heck of a lot more for a truck in that nice of shape. Really friggin upsetting the more I think about it.......... :fs1:

I thought maybe CFC too, it's gotta be, especially at those prices. Now I'm more pissed at the PO.

Looks like a CFC to me.

Absolutely HORRIBLE.

If I was closer, I'd have them pull the cab corners & rockers.

Hopefully someone will grab them. :(

that things clean  why didnt he just put a new engine in it. and if it was cfc couldnt he put a diff dash in so tat vin isnt on the jeep anymore?

A. There is more than one VIN

B. It is a violation of Federal law to do that. Meaning big fines and jail time.

C. You are very lucky that Pete is a really nice guy. Certain forums even mentioning VIN changing and you are banned.

I posted that up on the classified back in late Nov or early Dec when it first appeared on Craiglist. I believe a couple members on CC got parts off of it. And yes it is a CFC victim. You should have seen some of the Cherokees they posted up as CFC. Not a damn thing wrong with them, not even dents.

It is a CFC.

That yard specializes in older iron. I don't know why but they got a handful of CFC, if you walk in there and offer them 1/2 of what they are asking on the ad, they'll give it to you, they want these things out of their yard.

What a shame. Good lucking truck too. That yard is just up the road from where I work, they always have decent jeeps in there getting scrapped.

that yard is a few blocks from my house but for some reason i can't seem to make it over there

I think you need to try harder.
