Wanting metal Tail light boxes? Possible group buy?

We are going to either use 4" rounds and 2" side marker or 2x6 ovals, 2.5" turn/reverse and 2" side marker. Readily available, easy to find and won't ever be discontinued.

Sorry guys, I have to bow out. My buddy, who works in a metal fab shop, just said that he'll make me some tail lights for free. I'm usually not a flake, but money is awfully tight these days. Here's the revised list.

I need to see what they're gonna look like. even a rough'd out set. I know that 4" round lights won't fit, unless you bubble them out like the liberties and jeep 2500's...that's going by my measurements.

 

 

 

I guess I'll go ahead and bow out on one set, then. these are a great idea, but I know exactly what I want and if I'm not going to get that then I will just build a set. I will still take one set no matter how it turns out...building an MJ for a local friend right now, and he wants a set...doesn't care what they look like.

I would like to have a set regardless of what you do !

I have to say , If more guys can see a rough design , or even better, a finished product , that would sort out all the questions and

more people would jump on the wagon .

 

Besides if I don't like them , I can put them on my MJ trailer . I kinda like the thought of an" armored trailer " anyway ,

If I like them I'll put them on my truck and my trailer .

Like I said before a couple of guys on this site have two or more MJ's , If they like them they will refer friends .

As long as you have them in stock, you can always sell them .

You would have already sold at least 15 , done and out the door !! If you had them !! :D

they're not supposed to start work on them till early Feb (according to Brian from JcrOffroad's posts in thisn thread anyway), so you're still early to the party. :D

Price wise, you would be looking around $145 for a pair (you source the lights). In order for us to do this, we are going to be looking at selling 15 sets (a full batch) before we do any work on developing these. So would you be interested? We probably wouldn't get around to build the batch until the first of Feb, so you wouldn't need the money until then. This would be a one time deal, we probably will not make them again.

 

 

It's just about Feb 1st,

The MJ was dropped off today, we might not get going on the Tail lights for a week to ten days. We are kind of backed up and the plasma on our CNC table died last friday :( So we lost 4 days of work waiting for the new one.
