Sir Sam Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 So I'm at the store getting orange soda for tonights mixed drinks, I just finish checking out when my phone rings, I answer it while grabbing groceries. Mom: "Oh, your not at home." Me: "No but I will be in a few minutes, what do you need?" Mom: "I was wanting you to google and find the closest diesel station to the house." Me: "Are you out driving around or something?" Mom: "No I'm at home." Me: "Is the internet down or something?" Mom: "No I was just being lazy and wanted you to do it." Me: "Seriously?" Moms...........:squint:
Pete M Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 :rotfl2: sounds like something my mom would do. :D

Sir Sam Posted November 6, 2009 Author Posted November 6, 2009 Do both of you live with your parents? I sure as hell don't. How old are you Pete? I've always wondered. And how old is Sir Sam? I am 23. Though I stopped counting at 21, and continue to associate myself with that age. "I keep getting older, and they stay the same age."
Darren Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 "You know whats great about high school girls? I keep getting older, and they stay the same age." There you go kid, I fixed it for you!

Automan2164 Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 I'm an olde fart at 33. Ye' olde fart Pete... Rob L.
dasbulliwagen Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 I'm an olde fart at 33. Youre only 33??? I really imagined you to be much older, maybe 55. And theres no shame in living with your parents if thats what you have to do. I would do it again if I had to... I beleive my relationship with them is good enough to where it wouldnt be an issue. I'm only a few years older than you.
Pete M Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Had an epic setback a few years ago due to illness and so I'm a bit behind where I want to be in life. :wall:
Automan2164 Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Had I been smart, I would have never left my mom's place, and concentrated on my comanche kingdom. Stupid Mortgage and bills. Jerks. :fs1: Rob L.

AMCJeepMJ Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Had an epic setback a few years ago... :wall: I've had several of those  As have I, but the divorce papers should be final any day now.
mvusse Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 I guess I have 5 years on Pete. Unlike most of you, though, I expected Pete to be younger. Like mid to late twenties... I had an epic set back also, 5 years ago. I went from a house with double attached garage AND 24x32 pole building with double garage door to a house with no garage whatsoever because of her. Actually, the setback was her leaving. Single income raising a teenager in today's economy doesn't buy much house.
