These are cool to find. Like someone said before, they were given to the employee's at the factory when they launched the Comanche. They were never offered to the public so getting them from ebay is the most likely route. Whats cool about yours is you actually go it from someone that was the original recipient and even cooler that it was your grandpa. Matched set. :brows:

:agree: First one I did I ended up cracking the dash pad vinyl. Spend a couple of bucks on a flexible shaft and will never have that problem again.

Are you looking for the b-pillar trim or the under the window pieces? Also, what color?

Very sad to here indeed. Many of us go through life without knowing how good we have it. Never taking the time to be thankful for what we have or the friends we share. It takes a moment like this for us to realize, Joe was thankful for each day. Rest easy my friend, for your suffering is over.

97+ fuel sender ohm readings?
mfpdm replied to lostissues's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
From this thread. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=16587&p=167685&hilit=ohm#p167685 The values for the XJ are, 20 ohm (full) and 270 ohm (empty) The values for the TJ are, 20 ohm (full) and 220 (empty) -
Both Renix and HO have a crossbody harness. Don didn't have one or just didn't use it and made his own. Your best bet is to get the one out of the 87 if you can or out of a 2dr XJ of the same era. A four door will work but if I'm not mistaken there will be some minor differences. Also I can't remember if the relays for the door locks are on the crossbody or if they were on the dash harness. Someone else may chime in and answer that.

My general rule is to avoid cutting and splicing. There are speaker adapter wires that can be had for a few bucks. Check the link below and ebay. http://www.metraonline.com/part/72-1002

Steering column movement
mfpdm replied to ole yeller comanche's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Yep, sounds like the old tilt knuckle problem. Same happen to me. One of the screws came completely out and was floating around in the column. This link has some good pics on the process. http://brackmann.org/berkeley/Jeep/wren ... gwheel.htm  -
:agree: Yep, it truely is. I've missed toying with the jeeps and posting on here.

It was a short bed. Rear bumper was mint and another member here beat me to it. Front bumper was bent in on one side. Far as the project, it will be a few months before I can get anything done on it. I'm still working a house project that I started last October. :shake:

Haven't been around in awhile so figured I stop in and see what was going on with everybody. I've done nothing to the build in so long it's sad. Went to the JY for the first time in a long time and found a real clean MJ that did not deserve to be there. It's in the Virginia Beach Pick n Pull for anyone interested. It's a 2wd 4cyl auto. :brows: Yep, it has stock 4.56 gears in the rear. Anyhow, I've put some stuff up in the classifieds(shameless plug) so I'll be creeping around for a while till I go back into my hole.

Yep like shelby said. The "P" doesn't show in your diagram because it is not used however you will see it labeled on the flat connector on the steering column. -

Uhm, I think you may want to look closer. That is cement your looking at through the cab floor. I'd would guess that thing is eating itself from the inside out. -
Believe he may be talking about the plastic trim piece right below the window. Either way I have both the plastic and carpet pieces in gray. PM sent.

Not quite your answer but if I remember correctly, the TJs track bar mount is the same. You may have better luck searching for it. Always see people dumping there stock stuff after a lift for cheap on craigslist.

Never really had the chance to compare. I swapped all my speakers with Infinitys which make pretty much everything sound better. :D

:( Very sad if it is. Only 100 made. If it is, pull the placard off the dash. Will be a nice Comanche momento to have. Also grab the vin and put it in the registry.
