  1. the comanche cab is like 3.5" taller than the s10 (from the bed rail)... i had an aluminum shell that i had to spacer up with a steel stud for it to look rite. prety sure it was from an s10 anyway... i want to do one too, i plan to use electrical conduit to frame it, ez to bend and bolt. cheep too
  2. the lites just happened to work for it...drilld the mount hole in the section that bends back 45 deg at the bottom of the bumper and used a hole saw to cut the big hole. carage bolt from the front with the nut at the lites mount for a better look. got the lites from a freind and havnt seen them anywhere for sale nore do they have a name on them. picd up some rubber inserts for the edge and lost them somewhere in the garage.

  9. good chance the 92 has a d44.... plus check how many were made in 92...that much more rare.
  10. what would be affected by using the short shaft? seems like i gotta push the peddle half way down or so b4 the clutch engages. did that since i got it and after changing the clutch and internal slave.
  11. it is keyd one biggr tooth on the case side
  12. gotta simmilar question, i could measure but keep forgeting...my 87 is accross town what is the differance between drive shaft lengths from a ba10 to d35 and ax15 to d44? i ask cause i want to put the d44 thats in my garage in place of the d35 under my 87. yes it needs an inch shorter shaft but the 90 is soa and could use an extra inch. i was hopen i could swap the two and be just rite on both. also will the slip yolk swap?
  13. had the same issue. used a washer behind the univesal they sold me while i waited for the dealer unit, which was special order(to ak anyway) the universal was plastic, the dealer one was steel, and now i have a backup didnt have any problems with the belt lining up, don't remember what size washer i used i got an open box at schmucks and thaught it was spose to come with said washer

  18. but its 2wd so an axle swap would be like half price... you could upgrade with the money you save...
  19. that pic woulda helped if the camera were panned a little more to the right. but i think i figgered it out... shackles in the front... image in my head is of the rear of the leaf... that makes sense rite?...
  20. u get what u pay for... i personaly stay away from any brand that has more than 2 or 3 direct compeditors, theyre competing in price and quality is were your savings comes from. the two comanches ive dd couldnt keep a stock track bar for more than two months, prolly the way i drive but the re bar hasnt givven me a single issue in over a year
