when i said "early" i was more refering to the single diaphram booster

i see any brake upgrade as a good upgrade for the xj/mj of early model years. though i probably wouldnt buy just part of the stuff i need, go to the jy and get it all from the same source. if you like to wheel the disks are much ezer to clean.

school me on the factory diesel engine jeep used. ide like to have a diesel comanche in the future and they (diesel xj's) are pretty available up here. it would be nice to have the jeep spec diesel but its proly more practical to go 4bt. school me on the renalt and give me your opinions.

FYI... those door handles are notorious for breaking were the rod connects.they are cast aluminum or something similar. my eagle ended up with loops of cable hanging out the doorjams on all 4 doors. may be more of a problem up here (AK) were it gets really cold. truck mounted tool boxes have handles that look close to the same and are made of steel.

would it be improper for me to ask were they came from? so i don't order from a company with "either an entire lack of pride, or zero quality control"

check the axle disco. could even be loose vacuum line on the disco actuator. just a guess :dunno:

i did (just) my water pump earlier this summer and of the many parts that had to be removed to change it, the oil pan was not even a thought. but i cannot speak of the timing chain cover as ive not needed to deal with it. yet... knock on wood

understandably, but the more feedback you as the admins get the better you can gear this forum to what the users want... I'm not participating in either poll.

i went re3.5 and added the adjustable track bar. did the soa in the rear. brakelines as pete suggested. all together just under a grand shipped to AK. and very happy with lots of flex the only thing ide change/add sway bar discos the soa rear sits at bout 5" unloaded but the bed is either filled with tools or gear and levels out. the rake unloaded makes me feel cool though

anyone know if the dmv releases info on this subject? ie. registered comanches in their given area or am i guna have to check tomorrow and devote a couple hours to hold music?

is there some way of mapping were our fellow members are? i remember this being done in the past but can't find it. i ask because it seems our trucks are getting fewer and farther between. always some post about seeing another mj, doesnt seem to be a big deal as i see one every other day or more. seems weird that there are more on the road up here (AK) were vehicles don't last like they do down in the lower 48 were more sent up here from the factory? is there some way to find out how many comanches went were? is there any way to find out how many comanches are registered in each state?
