  1. We need an "attaboy" emoji.
  2. Seems to be something funny with the lower dash panel on the driver's side. Maybe just shadows. No door locks, fender flares, plus the other oddities, I have a hard time seeing 25k from the pics provided. But to each their own.
  3. And heater controls. Must be some kinda export?
  4. I can't argue with that. I purchased mine wanting the lift. But if I was after metric tons with factory height I would have gone a different route. Me comments are solely related to my experience with the general springs.
  5. I started on a quest to straighten my rear bumper. Found the nuts for the end caps were seized (what a shock). Broke the driver's side and haven't attempted to remove the passenger side yet. However the driver side of the bumper is now straightish. Took a lot of prying, pounding and looking. Lol. Gonna tackle the passenger side today and see if I can at least save one bumper cap.
  6. Did some testing, looks like 4 new door speakers and a head unit. Not sure what speakers I want to put in it. The boss and I decided this one isnt going to stay in the fleet long. Nothing wrong with a ZJ, but we both prefer the wj. So I am not looking to spend a fortune but still don't want junk that's gonna blow out in a year's time. Probably going to go with a inexpensive touch screen headunit and some decent quality 6.5" coaxial speakers all the way around. The dash tweeters seem to be functioning ok so I am going to leave them be for now.
  7. I have these on the rear on mine. Can get measurements if you need. I think it was arrond 3.5-4" before settling. 4.5" re coils leveled it well. 3.5" fronts will give you factoryish rake.
  8. I would vote cv shaft conversion.
  9. Patience, you will also need lots of patience also. Gears are a bit of a trial and error thing. Might have to assemble, check, and disassemble for adjustment several times. Have patience and it's really not hard to do.
  10. Oh boy,. It's getting exciting in here now..... I really enjoyed watching the last build and am eager to watch this one.
  11. X3 for krustys hitch. Well made quality products.
  12. Mine was leaking where the metal crimps on the rubber hose. I cut the crimped end off and slid it over the fuel rail with a high pressure hose clamp and that was several years ago still doing well.
  13. Nott looking forward to the idea of wiring a full system in. I'm really hoping it's just junk speakers.
  14. Fresh brakes all around, new driver's seat gears to fix the forward back adjustment, and what seems to be just the beginning of an ongoing saga I'm gonna call the O2 debacle. Upon further review I believe the vehicle side of the connector for the downstream O2 is broken. Hoping to source one at the salvage yard if possible. Pretty sure it is the culprit. Really wish I hadn't cut the wires on the original O2 . Thought it was bad didn't notice the connector till too late. Also need to address the radio situation. It is the infinity gold system which I am learning adds to the difficulty. I have no sound from the rear speakers and no fm reception at all. Hoping bad speakers in the rear doors and an aftermarket head unit will do the trick. Anyone else been down this road in a ZJ before?
  15. Does it rub on both sides or just one? I have seen a front end alignment issue cause rubbing in only one direction. I didn't see it started, are you using factory wheels?
  16. I seem to remember the rem was reading rich, but would have to check for sure. It has been stashed away in the back of the shop for the remainder of the salty season. I'll report back.
  17. Would that be a patina wrap?
  18. Dunno if it helps any but I feel like my 4.10's are a great match to 31's
  19. Had to park this one for a few days after losing the paper temp plate. Could have gotten another but have plenty of other stuff to drive. Gave me a chance to replace what I thought was a faulty downstream O2 sensor. Turns out it was an issue with the connector. One pin had pushed out and was corroded badly. Waiting on the permanent plate to arrive and back on the road it will go.
  20. Well today was oil change day so it got a dose of fresh 10w30 rotella and a brand new wix filter. I was running 15w40 but can't stop the valve cover leak. Curious if it is a flooding issue with the heavy weight oil not draining. I'll have a report after a few days of driving. Also changed the sway bar bushings for some Amazon cheapos. Gotta be better than the old factory ones, and they match the paint sort of.
  21. I have been using rock auto for almost 10yrs and just got mine.
  22. Title transfered, plates on it, tools in the back. I'm gonna drive it to work today. This begins the shakedown to see what else I need to address, before turning it over to the wife.
  23. Not impossible, I can find you a handful rather quickly, but I know where they are stashed. Lol. They are easier to find than that dadgum ac line.
  24. I used permatex to glue on my ZJ mirror, and it's still there. To be honest I haven't had it out of the driveway\shop since I glued it. We will see if it stays.
  25. Why not wire in a factory xj dome? Don't they have a single isolated dome light for the rear? Would for sure look factory.
