  1. I take it you havent had the front wheels off yet? if you have well... Either way hope that was the cause of your issues and theres many happy miles to come
  2. Yes as unlikely as it sounds, i was just browsing last week and there was atleast 6 seperate listings for Power MJ rear slider windows... I just searched again after seeing this thread and couldnt find even 1 slider on ebay, manual or electric
  3. There was 6 or so of them on ebay last week. Theyre all gone now though....I never even knew Power sliders existed back then :dunno:
  4. I'm heading over tomorrow morning to spend a few hours. Ill have "Walker" with me this year. Stop by and say "hi" if ya get a chance. I can't be there all day though as i have plans here at the house later in the afternoon. Cya there!
  5. :agree: :(
  6. They each curve slightly opposite directions. If ya switch em around on the truck youll notice, but just looking at them side by side they do look identical.
  7. I think a set of Spidertrax spacers on the rear would help out....theyre on the to do list ;)
  8. it had to be Spencer @ jeepsticker.com If it wasnt, well hes the 1 to get them from either way
  9. I'm pretty sure your talking about "CW Long Shot" Image Not Found His whole build thread can be seen here http://comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1230
  10. The easyest solution besides the professional refinishing is to strip them clean using an Aircraft type paint remover and applying Duplicolor wheel coating. I did this on my XJ with the 10 spokes when i bought them and they still look excellent after 9+ months! here's 2 links to pictures, as to not clog up your build thread ;) those wheels will look great on your truck!
  11. Still looking to collect a few of these....thanks!
  12. Well during a routine inspection underneath this truck I came across a small hole of rust on the unibody under the drivers side. So alittle fabrication was in order :wrench: Got all the soft stuff cut out and the area cleaned up. Patch panel test fitting All welded up. Some grinding and undercoating and she was ready for more action!
  13. Came across a good deal on some Bosch 4 hole Injectors....so what the heck, i decided to toss them in. The 25 yr old injectors were showing their age All back together and I noticed a noticable difference!
  14. Great job.....Glad to see it have a new outlook on life! :wrench:
  15. Easyest way to lower the rear would be a set of Blocks i would think :dunno:
  16. I used 2 YJ wrangler cowl vents on the Hood of my Blue truck Entire process of installing can be found on page 8 of "My Style" build thread
  17. Well while waiting for a set of Fuel Injectors to arrive to possibly help the performance of this thing alittle i decided to tackle another nusinense that came along with this truck. The drivers window wouldnt roll down any further than this, due to a broken cable in the regulator... So i decided to try out my 1st ever window regulator swap this evening. It went very smoothly and painless. Broke vs replacement All finished, with a rolled down window :D Yay no more looking like a jerk going through the Wendys drive through anymore :rotfl2: Injectors should be here tomorrow and be installed over the weekend! :wrench:
  18. The pump YES it can be swapped into the MJ Sending unit. The entire Sending unit however 99% of the time is NOT interchangable between the 2 ;)
  19. Definently watching this 1! An easy start, all kidding aside would be an Aluminum Garbage can :dunno:
  20. youll get probably 2.5"-3" of lift from the XJ leafs, if they are still at 4.5" XJ AALs typically lift the MJ just over half of advertised for an XJ
  21. Nothing wrong with multiple vehicles, expecially is the majority of them are Comanches!
  22. Performed the Sensor gound test (All grounds are clean and tight) Reset the TPS Swapped ECUs (then swapped back) Checked Cap/rotor/wires and plug gaps Swapped to coil (then swapped back) No dice, it acts like more of an ignition problem than fuel related. My Temp gauge reads normal but it sure feels like its awful hot in the engine bay.....excessive heat messing with something? No much left i havent messed with...Coolant temp sensor on the block? Fuel injectors? Never changed the fuel filter... (truck has plenty of power though) Pretty lost here anymore. O Well I'm done for the night, who knows it just might be 1 of those things that fixes itself...
  23. Well after a few miles of driving, the problem is still very visable. Next steps include checking the TPS, swapping ECUs and even swapping Distributors... The joy of having a parts Jeep is the ability to swap parts, ha ha, i know its not the right way to go about diagnostics, but I'm sure to find the culprit of this issue :rotfl2:
  24. Recleaned the C101 connector as well as removed and throughly cleaned the EGR valve and ports. The problem seems to have been deminished a bit but at idle its still missing. Ill put some more miles on it and also check the TPS again this week.
  25. considering all the 91+ XJs/MJs no longer had the CAD system, and just use 1 solid shaft. That should be enough proof that it cause's no harm ;)
