  1. If I'm correct I think TJs ran 5x4.5 bolt pattern through 06, they should bolt up with no issues
  2. Lubed up my wiper linkages and checked over everything under the cowl. definently helped a good bit.
  3. Yeah at The Local Advance Auto they have the Vavoline Maxlife, Castrol Dex/Merc and their cheapie store brand stuff.....which 1 would be the best option or should i look elsewhere?
  4. I'm planning on Changing my fluid soon and was wondering if theres any other or specific Brands of ATF Fluid i should buy. I'm gonna be doing the simple Drain pan, Drive an oil change interval and then drain again i heard this is about the most efficiant way you can do it buy yourself. thanks for any other info. Also i have a 96 XJ with an Auto as well so i think it its the same AW4 (similar) and its service can be performed the same as the MJs Tranny.
  5. I have an OEM Front Steering parts ect skid and an Aftermarket Ft Diff Skid.
  6. I had Wildman send me a repaired 1 and I sent him my bad 1 in return, idk if he's still doing this but that was about the only option back around February 2008 when i replaced mine
  7. Ive been having this issue as well and even after replacing the IAC and cleaning everything completly it still does it now and then.....Its a jeep thing to me, i can live with it  :smart:
  8. I would never run spacers up front but ive installed them on the rear and have had no issues past 500 miles
  9. Would factory or the other make of Tow hooks work with an OEM Front Skidplate?
  10. Best thing ive heard for a long time! I'm in!
  11. Awesome! I hope i defently get to see that @ the Carlisle show this year! Love it!
  12. I did alittle wheelin today, gonna go over the truck and do a routine bolt check this week also
  13. Theres an 86 near me i dive by 4-5 times a week that never moves, just sits along the road, If it wasnt for the fact its a 2.8 id be more intrested in asking if they like to pass it on  but it just sits there and rusts, and rusts, and rusts...
  14. Looks Good....Looks almost like my 96 ;)
  15. They kept making Jeeps after '01? I didn't notice. Yeah me neither :dunno:
  16. lol ok....Theres 1 Ethonal free station here in town, ill just start using it more often
  17. So is it reccomended that i fill up with ethonal free fuel whenever possible in the MJ?
  18. Check into the Hankook Dynapro Mts.....Ive had nothing but good results outta mine over the past 18 months. Work great Offroad and ride very nicely on road.
  19. Darn 2 far west for me to say hi
  20. Dad used it to haul tanbark and i installed a set of Spidertraxx spacers on the rear
  21. Only 22 here
  22. Its a Motion Offroad 1.5" BB, with 30x9.50 Hankook Dynapro MTs on 15x8 Crager D Window 4.75" bs steelies. Running the 9.50 tires on a the 8" wheels spread out the tread a bit but i like the stance and the look. I ordered a set of Spidertrax 1.25" spacers for the rear to get the tires out to the flares like the front and ill be installing them as soon as they arrive. I'm happy with it for what i use it for but next Spring (2010) hopefully ill be upgrading to a Motion Offroad 3" full kit and running 31x10.50s, with me having the XJ now i can make the MJ alittle more Off road friendly. My Hankooks have close 20k on them and are maybe at 1/2 tread so they got plenty of life left in em but when they wear out ill be upgrading to 31s Thanks for the comments and feel free to ask me any other questions that come to mind
  23. Great starter.....Glad to see another MJ with a loving owner!
  24. a True American Hero....The XJ will always be remembered with greatness (After the MJ of course)
  25. I know ive been in your project topic before, anyway I'm glad to see another truck with the spacers in the rear, I ordered a set of Spidertraxs last night for mine and with my 4.75bs wheels I should have my tires right with the edge of the flare....Awesome, I have 1.5" of lift on mine and like the look of 31s on yours as well, Ill defently purchase 31s when my 30s are worn out. Nice looking truck man, thanks for giving me some ideas to steal
