  1. Alright....ive removed my rear flares in prep for bedside repairs and of course all but 1 of my studs/nuts snapped off......is it best to buy new 1s or am i stuck tryin 2 "rebuild" mine. Thanks!
  2. :rotf: I thought that looked cool 2. Acctually its just a blue cover but the Flash on the camera makes it appear lighted, it would be cool though
  3. Only problem i have is i don't have an adequite (sp?) Air Compressor for running a spray gun.....thats why i was looking into a brush on type liner :dunno:
  4. ripped out my interior in preperation for full Rust Repair War this weekend! :wrench:
  5. Just Courious if Road noise went up a substantial amount without the carpet and padding installed. I'm gonna be running around foe the next 2 days with No interior what so ever (just a seat) and just on the initial trip up my lane it was alot loulder inside. I'm hope when the floors are patched and coated it will damper the noise just a bit. Thanks!
  6. Well its taken alittle longer that expected but my Truck is finally goin in for Rust repairs, My Cousin is helping me out and will be picking the truck up Friday to begin repairs/Replacement on the Floors, Drivers Side rocker and both Bedsides while i head to NC for an ATV Race. I gutted the interior for him tonight and snapped a few pics.....the Drivers side is pretty much a total loss but the passenger side only has 1 small hole and mostly surface rust. Hopefully by this time next week ill be posting up some pics of a refurbished interior floor (POR-15 and Bedlined) and some shiney new bedsides ...Itll be like a whole new Truck! Well here's the beginning and not 2 suprising sight :ack: Passenger Driver Overall
  7. Do ya have a link to the POR15 Bedliner?.....I will also be doing the bottom half of my doors and rockers in this as well but i think anything will work down there if it works inside. I add some pics of (or what was) my floors in my build thread.
  8. Alright my MJ is finally getting the floors/Drivers Rocker and Bedsides fixed this weekend ( :D  ) and i don't plan on putting my crappy carpet back in, Anyway I'm torn between using Herculiner on the Floor or Duplicolor Bed Liner. The Floor will be POR-15 covered before the beadliner but i don't have experience with either and was looking for a few opinions. The truck is my DD Driver but is usually limited to around town trips and playing in the Mountains, not much Freeway time anymore so an increase in road noise isnt 2 big of a deal. Thanks!
  9. Myself and a few friends went down to my ATV Track Area in the woods and had some fun in the Trucks. a Couple Perk test holes challenged us alittle but everything came out great and we all had some fun. here's a small video i threw together
  10. I change my mind alot but when I'm ready for a 3" kit I'm gonna follow another members idea and go with 3" Hellcreek spings in the rear and the 3.5" RE XJ kit for the front, He said it evened out very nicely but ill have about an extra 1" of shackle adjustment in the rear to mess with as well
  11. Another Clean Dually
  12. Got it with the Coat hanger.....Yea! i can drive my MJ again!
  13. Have you replaced the front sockets as well? Thanks for the Coat Hanger tip also!
  14. Alright, well ive atleast figured out that my turn signal switch failed and left me with my No left turn and inop. Hazards flashers. Anyway I'm gonna work on getting the new switch installed and noticed when the old 1 came out it was routed through a very tight plastic sleeve and getting the new plug and wires through there looks next to impossible......Basically I'm just looking for suggestions for getting a new switch in. Thanks for any Help
  15. Um i think all the Auto Makers are in this same situation IMO......No one knows how to build anything worth my time anymore
  16. I know the rear wire harness is not interchangable between the MJ and XJ...totally different light wiring back there.
  17. Ordered 2 of them stickers Hopefully gonna get my turn signal switch pulled tonight and fix my dan electrical problem :hmm:

  19. Whats the #1 thing to look out for?....i know the steering wheel must be removed but other than that what else should i keep a lookout for?
  20. Alright well i am outta options besides replace the turn switch Are XJ switches compatable? its an 88 4.0 AW4.....ill post a wanted add in the classefieds as well.
  21. Alright thanks, ill check/clean that other ground, The front sockets were replaced not quite a year ago and the bulbs up front are clean of corrosion and working, everythings starting to point to the switch in the colum....We'll get it figured out
  22. Is there another ground besides the 1 behind the left tail light?
  23. Alright theres power to and through both fuses (haz/turn) Theres power to the brake light switch when the 4 ways are on. However there is no power to any of the bulbs when the left turn signal is on and nothing at all when the 4 ways are on (initial problem, duh). The Hazard relay has power to it and the other side has slight power as well but its constant and not alternating (flashing) idk if that tells me something or not..... So what should i go into next???
  24. I just pull 1 of the yoke retainers and thats enough room to get my grease gun on
  25. I'm gonna dig into it later with the test light again, but its weird because the right turn signal opperates normally but the left side has nothing, fuses all appear good and I'm beginning 2 wonder if a single wire may have gone bad somewhere :wall:
