  1. That is a SHARP MJ... it's a shame to see it possibly being parted out...
  2. I haven't checked into this due to being on vacation in Gatlinburg and working super long shifts for the holidays. But there isn't a CEL on so does that mean it's not even throwing a code? If it's not throwing a code then I'm thinking even more that it's the FPR...
  3. Nice job with the hitch. Did you cut a square hole through the air dam to mount it? Thanks! And yes, I did. I had to cut a square hole and 1 1/2 line going about 4" outward on both sides for the brace that reinforces the actual hitch port. Didn't do a pretty job on the cutting but you can't tell unless you look right at the hitch! Need to notch the bottom of the air dam for easier access to the tow mounts but it's manageble without
  4. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000E1AVQ8/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Haven't gotten the chance to try it out yet. Almost did the other day when a fellow broke down on a hill but neither of us had a tow strap. Since then I got myself a nice strap :D
  5. now that is weird. how much lift? what do you have for upper control arms? my arms were installed in the normal orientation. clearance to that particular spot in the control arm mounts was tight, but my truck had no lift so if contact was to happen it would have been under droop and so I paid it no mind. mine was the same way with slight droop. I just ground a bunch off and it's good enough now. I had more trouble with the upper arms clearance at the frame.
  6. Sure you can ask . I'm looking to clear my 31s at full turn so they won't rub . I'm open to install arms that are bent like the WJ ones that are tubular etc . Yep, tire clearance is their main purpose, but I also got a hell of a handling improvement up front due to the tubular WJ arm's better rigidity and the beefier bushings. same here. My front end overhaul of WJ arms, ZJ steering, and a newer style 2wd axle improved my steering SIGNIFICANTLY.
  7. I got a hoodie of the same thing! :D already had a t-shirt.
  8. I wonder if he only uses that one hinge for the door now? Says nothing about the bottom hinge
  9. i`ll keep that in mind, swaping impelers may do except for the closed cooling system swapping to an open system costs about 100$. 120$ if you buy a new radiator. You can buy a fitting that goes in the upper radiator hose and has a radiator cap. I ran this set up until I hit a deer and had to buy a new radiator (85$ shipped to my door) I still have the fitting with a brand new upper hose just in case I buy another closed system Jeep. Honestly it would be cheaper and easier to swap to an open system than to do all of this fan/water pump hassle
  10. The car is OBD1 so scanning it is possible but I don't know anyone with a scanner.
  11. Is there any plus side to this other than an extreme amount of "cool" factor?
  12. As a update for the car... my sister said when she was driving behind me today (I was driving the Sentra) it smelled badly of gas. So overfueling?
  13. it's about 50 degrees here and I'm cold... I couldn't stand -40
  14. I cycled the key multiple times and it doesn't change anything. I think the FPR might just be absolutely shot on this thing.
  15. Cap and rotor about 20k miles ago. Plugs and wires maybe 1k ago. I looked at the rotor and cap and they looked good still two injectors were replaced due to failure when we first got it, they were replaced with used ones. Not sure how to tell if the injectors are leaking or if it's being overfueled. Also if I get it to start, and it warms up, then it starts without patting the pedal. It still takes long to start but it doesn't need to have the pedal patted.
  16. Howdy guys. My family has had this 93 Nissan Sentra for about 2 years now. Great little car, even with 212k miles the little 1.6l still runs PERFECTLY... when it will start. It all of a sudden got a hard start and I can't trace it. If you pat the gas pedal while cranking it then it will start after a little while. That doesn't make sense to me because it is fuel injected, so pressing the pedal shouldn't effect it till it starts, right? We had the fuel pump changed and it started perfectly for about 3 days. And now it's right back where it was. Fuel pressure was correct. I'm thinking fuel pressure regulator or TPS but the mechanic says it isn't. On another note, I no longer use that mechanic.
  17. I accidentally backed up with the door open and a concrete pole at the gas station caught the door and about ripped it off the truck... had to pound the hinges a good bit with a hammer to get it to close half decent. Now I have to really slam it for it to not rattle. My problem is the mounts welds being broken and the mount sagging due to it. Any easy fix?
  18. I always just gravity bleed mine. Works great and requires no help :D
  19. Sounds like you're low on clutch fluid to me.
  20. ^this. Come January I will be getting the 30" Detour bar. I like the smaller bar more, doesn't have as much of a "look at me!" effect. Will be mounting at least 2 led pods with possibly a small LED bar in between.
  21. Added the correct front bumper with end caps from a 91'. Also painted my front wheels and added chrome center caps (need to paint the rears but gotta wait till Summer.) Got a LOT to do. Mean lemons battery cables, Krustyballer hitch, bucket seats, building the rear axle, ect... so much left. But for now here is a poser pic I took during a little photoshoot driving around Thursday :D I really love this picture.
  22. I love the question mark beside the AC one :D That's how I've been all winter. I want to fix the AC... but I also want buckets seats and to build the 8.25 I have.
  23. I'm planning to just do a cone filter. And another good way to clean up the engine bay is to swap to a 97+ wiper fluid bottle that goes in the fender :D
  24. And as my reply to the subject of what I'm getting the MJ for Christmas... So far I got 2awg Meanlemons battery cables, a Krustyballer hitch, an idler pulley and new serpentine belt to fix this awful squeak I have. And left to get will be bucket seats, and a Detour Offroad BBLB-1 30" light bar.
  25. nice Mosin! My father passed down to me an M44 Mosin Nagant that he bought during a big Russian import about a decade back. He got it for 83$! Great little gun.
