  1. It's gonna be a bit before I get mine in. Still battling brake issues and it sounds like I'm going to need a new fuel pump soon. Mines getting really loud and my idle is wacky so I think it's about to go out.
  2. Ends up mine has a blown rear wheel cylinder. Hopefully that's why I can't get the pedal to be stiff. Gotta get this sucker back going...
  3. I'm going to get me one of those since it's a pain waiting for my brothers to help me bleed brakes. They also don't pay attention when pressing the pedal so it's inconsistent...
  4. The next 3 sets were made. 2 people prepaid on them. I know one was Schardein because I asked him to since he was picking up in person. Who was the other one that prepaid? So I can take you off the list. The last one was Siopossition. I will be messaged when the next sets come in and I will continue down the list.
  5. I never would have thought about putting a battery there but that is a fantastic idea and very well done.
  6. I built my own downpipe. 2.5" cheap 409 stainless. Image Not Found Image Not Found I never took a picture of it installed for whatever reason, but it's very tight, and that's with running an axle that offsets the pinion about 2" farther left than stock... it looks sharp though! :D
  7. It's an advantage also. More power. Even more if you have a custom built downpipe without the factory crush in it. Off to work.............. have you got a picture of how you get rid of the crush? I've read how to, just can't picture it... I tried to get a photo with no success. Do you have a lift on your Jeep? my 2wd has about a 1" lift in the front currently to level it out a bit. I'll be installing GS metric ton leafs (the group buy type) over the summer and matching the front lift to whatever the rear brings. So anywhere from 1-3" probably. Plus, the Jeep is only 2wd so the driveshaft clearance isn't an issue FOR NOW. But I do plan to convert to 4x4 eventually in the far future just for the heck of it.

  9. I would go new on the WJ arms. Coming from someone who has done the upper and lower arm mod and changed the bushings in a junkyard set... just buy new. After buying new bushings it costs about the same and believe me you DO NOT want to have to change the bushings. It sucked.
  10. Exhaust ports are identical. HO exhaust manifold on Renix As far as exhaust, you can use the Renix exhaust manifold and be fine. If you want to use the HO exhaust manifold, you must go with an HO headpipe and screw your O2 sensor into that headpipe. Standard Renix harness is plenty long to do so. A bung can be welded into the HO manifold to accept the EGR tube also. does the HO headpipe connect to the tailpipe over the crossmember without modification?
  11. So I've got an intake/exhaust leak somewhere up under the hood. All of my manifold bolts were really loose so I think the seal burnt up some while it was loose because it's still got a leak somewhere after I tightened them. Soon enough I will be changing the gaskets. Whats the verdict on a good aftermarket header for the Renix? Is the only way to use an HO header and either add an 02 bung or extend the lines down to the further down one on the header? I'm going to delete the EGR so that tube won't be a problem.
  12. that's exactly why I haven't ordered shocks yet. Just looking at these springs I can tell I'm getting a couple inches of lift easy. The ones currently on my MJ seem to be the lowest rate springs you could get, and they're FLAT.
  13. Shackles for a 02 f-150 are almost exactly the same as stock MJ ones so I wouls recommend going ahead and installing new shackles while you're under there. The shocks I'm going to probably go with are Monroe load-leveler shocks. They have coils on the shocks to help with heavy loads. They have fitment issues on longbed MJ's though.
  14. they were seperately labeled but came on the same UPS truck
  15. Ups delivered my set of springs yesterday afternoon. You guys are NOT going to be disappointed. These suckers are HEAVY and very well built. I also picked up some Ford shackles and ordering Hellcreek u-bolts now so hopefully I'll get them bolted in soon. Big thank you to Joe for helping us out with these!
  16. Update from Joe. He contacted me letting me know that 5 sets had been produced so far. 2 sets went to a couple of guys that prepaid for them (if you could let me know who you were, that would be great so that I can take you off of my list). Then I got my set since I organized it. And I messaged the first two people to reply to this when I finally got the group buy set up. (Masimmons and Dceyer). Now, don't get down! We have more sets coming. Joe said that in 1 or 2 weeks he will have 3 more sets and in about a month he will have the final 2 sets to equal up to a total of 10 sets of springs. When the next 3 sets come in he will be messaging me and I will go down the list as I did this time to insure that the original group buy members get theirs. Also this keeps someone from reading this topic and just randomly purchasing a set. Like I said before if you were 1 of the 2 people that prepaid then PLEASE let me know so that I can take you off of my list. Otherwise thank you for being patient with Joe and I and you will hear from me soon. Cheers!
  17. I have got a ported 10" Kicker sub behind the seats and I turned the rear speakers off through my radio. They started popping really bad before the sub and front speakers even got to a good volume. Currently the front speakers at 5.25 Kicker Coaxials. But they're fixing to be replaced by high level 6.5" Alpine component speakers ran off of a seperate amp.
  18. I believe that the brackets are the same as far as floor mounts go. But as far as the sliders and ect they are of course different. But you can take the floor mount brackets off of a bench seat and bolt 87-94 XJ seats/sliders right to them as you can also do with MJ buckets. The brackets are the same. The sliders, however, are not.
  19. I used 3' of extensions and a swivel head to get to the top bolts. Wrapped em all in take so that the swivel doesnt swivel too easily and the extensions don't come out of each other.
  20. they'll honestly only give you 3 inches tops from what I understand.
  21. 200$ each regularly (plus shipping) but everyone in this group buy gets them for 170$ each. Not sure if all the springs are taken or not, gotta see how many end up getting made.
  22. I'm looking for about 3" of lift which is why I brought this group buy back up :D I'm going for pretty much the same set up as you. About 2-3" lift, 31's, and 2wd. Eventuallt a 4.7 will be in play!
  23. The one in the rear first pic is gone. It took up too much console storage space. Yes, that's my original carpet. They are. and the "camo" pajama pants! I always seem to be wearing my "round the house" clothes when I decide to post an image of something I've done to the Manche :D
  24. same here! Won't have my lift and all done till end of summer though, probably. One step at a time...
