  1. Check and make sure the heater core is not plugged up with rust or the heater valve is functioning properly.
  2. Don's has the same stripes.
  3. I fit in the truck just fine. I am 5'9" and about 175 or so. The ZJ seats are way nicer than any other seat I could find for the money. They are so nice in fact that I am using them again in Betty. I sold this truck awhile ago. It is still on the road and driven almost daily.
  4. World's Wildest Roads, Wet and Wild OD green truck with a Waggy front clip owned by Art Mathis. A lot of coverage showing the MJ.
  5. What color smoke is it? Drop the exhaust off the manifold and run it with the pipe disconnected. It might just be old coolant still stuck in the exhaust and it is steaming off. Do this first then report back if it is still smoking out of just the manifold.
  6. One of the few!
  7. http://www.daveysjeeps.com $75
  8. Thank you. I have put her in a time out until I can procure the burgundy interior I want to use. I could go to black but I honestly think it is getting over done on these trucks. Once the interior is sorted all I need is drive shafts and a cooling system and she should be ready to blow up the D35. I do have a D44 waiting to be installed though.
  9. Go glass. But I would build molds off the new panels before I installed them. That way you can make your own replacement panels for next to nothing.
  10. Thank you!
  11. Everything behind the doors.
  12. Brent, will $50 for all of it work? Remi, my black interior is not for sale.
  13. Thanks Brent. How much to throw the console in the mix too? Mine is gray and I was planning on dying it with some Monte Carlo SS interior paint.
  14. You will need ALL the wiring from the donor XJ. Sorry, you can't make the XJ dash talk to the MJ wiring.
  15. Any chance you could pull all the interior plastic and ship them to me?
  16. I think I am going to go through with the swap from black to burgundy interior. I have the dash and console but need everything else. Who has what and how much shipped to 92277? This is just an experiment. Please be easy on me on the price! If I hate it, I will be stuck with the maroon stuff no body wants, lol!
  17. They are both junk. Just drop them off at my place. I am glad I talked you into saving the MJ.
  18. I have never driven a "Barbie Jeep". I do not ever have the desire too either.

  20. Drill out the rivets on the vin that is not needed from the new dash. Heat the rivets on the needed vin from the under side of the old dash. Apply pressure with a screwdriver to pop the rivets out. Make holes in the new dash so the rivets on the good vin plate will fit snugly in. Apply epoxy to the bottom side to keep them in place.
  21. I use one of these. http://www.armygear.net/ag/store/00064.html They will hold all of your tools and then some!
  22. I have done it. Terrawombat has started his as well. I just got the transmission mount finalized yesterday. The motor mounts can be fun to figure out. I had to build my wiring harness from a few different rigs. I decided to keep the old style dash while Terra went with a 97+. Depending on your choice for the dash will dictate the wiring mods. I think Terra's went easier with his 97+ (OBD-II) wiring than my 94 (OBD-I) setup. The CC bus talked directly to his dash. But he has the hassle of the 97+ conversion to deal with along with the fuel tank. All I had to do was track down a HO MJ pump assembly. It can and has been done. Just pick a direction, either -96 or 97+ and run with it. We got your back Jim!
  23. The difference is compression ratio, cam, and about 30 HP and 30 TQ. http://www.wjjeeps.com/engine.htm For all your WJ questions.
  24. That would match my 80's jackets we break out for car shows when we show the Shelby.
  25. You are missing a lot of parts. Search the DIY and project areas for some pointers.
