  1. Cool, I was just wondering. I hate changing them out in the Hummers!
  2. Why did you hack the run flat halves up?
  3. Yep, they do it every single year. I can't wait to see the hate mail from this one!
  4. She is 4 and the boy is 10.
  5. Me too! I named both my kids after Mopars. My son's name is Dakota and my daughter's name is Shelby. This is what I named Dakota after. And this is where Shel's name came from
  6. As of right now my prop valve works perfectly. I am trying to make this build as factory correct (looking) as possible. The only real move away from a production build will be the lift. I will be down one day to get that stuff. I just have not had any time off lately. Thanks for grabbing it for me.
  7. www.mallcrawlin.com is my fav Z/WJ forum.
  8. You are in my thoughts.
  9. WOW! I throw up in my mouth a few times! What a nail biter! I am glad it is over!
  10. WOW! You found this place quick! Welcome to the Club. Beer is in the fridge, make yourself at home. I am a few hours north of ya and there are a few others around from middle GA.
  11. I spent some time today cleaning up and painting my nused Dana 44 after meeting up with JBHill. I cleaned up the brake lines and added my Solid cover while I was at it. Here is my BDS braided brake line for the up coming SOA. I figured I would bolt the MOABs on to make moving it around a little easier. I had to notch the load sensing mount to fit over the rib in the Solid cover but, it worked out nicely.
  12. From a Marine Gunny to a Navy Chief, Congrats sir! Take a few months off and enjoy yourself. You deserve it! Thank you for all you did for this great nation. I am not far behind you either!
  13. Golden Telephone A man in Topeka , Kansas decided to write a book about Churches around the country. He started by flying to San Francisco and started working east from there. Going to a very large church, he began taking photographs and making notes. He spotted a golden telephone on the vestibule wall and was intrigued with a sign, which read "Calls: $10,000 a minute." Seeking out the pastor he asked about the phone and the sign. The pastor answered that this golden phone is, in fact, a direct line to heaven and if he pays the price he can talk directly to God. The man thanked the pastor and continued on his way. As he continued to visit churches in Seattle , Dallas , St. Louis , Chicago , Milwaukee , and around the United States , he found more phones, with the same sign, and the same answer from each pastor. Finally, he arrived in Pennsylvania . Upon entering a Church in Pittsburgh , he saw the usual golden telephone. But THIS time, the sign read "Calls: $0.35 cents." Fascinated, he asked to talk to the pastor, "Father Jones, I have been in cities all across the country and in each church I have found this golden telephone and have been told it is a direct line to Heaven and that I could talk to God, but in the other churches the cost was $10,000 a minute. Your sign reads only $0.35 cents a call. Why? The priest, smiling benignly, replied : "Son, you're in Pittsburgh , Pennsylv ania now, home of the Pittsburgh Steelers-5 times Super Bowl Champions, the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Pittsburgh Pengins, 3 vibrant rivers meeting at the Point of the most beautiful downtown area around, the city with the best hospitals, neighborhoods and friendliest people in the world! You're in God's Country.... It's a local call."
  14. My 86 2.5 used to play games with the light all the time. It turned out to be a bad temp sender. And fellas, lets keep it nice.
  15. You are correct Don. They are not hub-centric. I had to email them 5 times before he replied.
  16. Jeremy, How did the paint job turn out? I talked to them a few days ago about painting mine. I am wainting for feed back from you before I dump my truck off to them.
  17. BLACK BETTY! Man do I miss that old truck! She was a good one. Hopefully Deano can bring her back to her former glory. Here is her build thread from when I owned her, http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3430&hilit=black+betty Enjoy it Dean!
  18. :dunno: I can't even get in there!
  19. I was out Jeepin' with the WJ. I never got a PM or email from you? :hmm: Still need the caps? PM me again.
  20. Is that a base/clear job or a single stage? I am looking to get Onyx painted here soon. She will need very little body work too. Who did you talk to over there at Diamond?
  21. Hasn't the 2500 been out for at least 5-6 years? I think most of the styling cues came from the WJ platform. The WK was not really even thought of when the 2500 was built. EDIT: The 2500 came out in 02' "When Beijing Jeep launched the Cherokee 2500 in late 2002, there were high hopes of opening a new market segment for SUVs."
  22. I agree totally. I said the same thing about having a weak link in the drivetrain for durability and people laughed at me? This happened right after I blew a CV joint in the WJ and someone suggested a U-Joint conversion kit. :shake: I would sooner bust a shaft than blow a ring and pinion, or a transfer case.
  23. What color are going on it? I am looking for a shop to paint mine soon. Are their prices reasonable?
