  1. yea that purple power's strong stuff. we used it to clean the shop floor and other various stuff at the shop i use to work in. looking good, keep them pics coming
  2. i'd say that's a good deal, go for it.
  3. mmmm CRD libby with soild front axle swap... 8)
  4. looks like the same truck to me?
  5. i may have to get an extra set or two... :brows:
  6. looking good, what are you doing for behind the seats? bench seat, jump seats, storage?
  7. i was thinking of the uni-mogs when you said that...
  8. this next one is from sweden
  9. well it runs fine now. after more time, found an intermittent short to ground in the starter solenoid circuit due to missing wiring looms, and that the solenoid intermittently stuck. so i replaced the starter with a spare one from a jeep i parted out, reinstalled wire looms from the same parts jeep, and it starts right up. just needs the drive shaft reinstalled after my towing trip as well as the hood latches (rust makes me ---> :headpop: ).
  10. does that have a full-float or semi-float rear axle? looks like a good find. when taken care of, i've known those engines to last over 1,000,000 miles. yes, that's 1 million. when i get a tow rig, it's either going to have the 7.3 or a cummins in it
  11. does this apply to the liberty, too?
  12. will that have the lifetime powertrain on it? my vote is for the rubi
  13. that's pretty close to what i have in mind to do someday, once i have the location and resources to fab it up. go for it.
  14. congrats on the 10 years :D
  15. why the downgrade? it's probably better for what you need, but i'd have kept the cherokee. the truck is looking good, as always.
  16. it may or may not work well, they don't offer any refunds though. also, the pic shows the temp in celcius not farinhite and i don't care if that's not spelt wright. :D
  17. its an auto, so typically they don't have that, but i'll look it over next time i go out to it. for some good news, it's not the switch. saturday, i didn't get a chance to do much with it by the time i got home and returned the dolly to it's owner (by the way, my mj hauls rather well  ). yesterday, i went out to dig into the wiring, and found within 10 minutes that my problem was the control side ground wire for the starter relay was plugged into the lead that was supose to go to the starter, and vise-versa. after a quick switch around, it now cranks but lacks the amperage to start. i also noticed some corosion on the battery cables, so i'll go through and clean the connections, and then it should be all set :D
  18. daily, i used a dolly from them to pick up the 88xj i picked up today. but what are you going to tow it with? they won't let you use a comanche to haul a comanche.
  19. today, i picked up an 88 cherokee for a good price. seems to be in pretty good condition, aside from needing a drive side window, rust on the driver side doors (looks like something was splashed on them and caused corrosion, but fixable), and it doesn't crank right now. it ran up until it wouldn't start, and it turns with a socket on the crank. since it has a new starter and starter relay, it must be either wiring, neutral safty switch, or most likely the ignition switch, since it binds and won't turn far enough to pull out the key. i still have all the parts i could need from 89 parts xj, so shouldn't take much  it's fully stock with 4.0, auto, np242, d30 non-disco, and d35. now for a few pics:
  20. :rotfl2: i thought ours was the only one that blew out a good 2-3 bulbs on any given night of wrenching :laughin: that was hilarious man, thanks. that's why i'm going to buy an LED one, no more bulbs to break!

i think the rims look better stock, but still nice truck there
  22. one of my friends played it last night...he works at a chain store, and the manager opened one of the employee pre-orders with a bunch of them. my friend said it's awesome. too bad i don't have anything to play it on.
  23. sell both the mj and the xj, keep the zj, and buy another mj with a bit more power in it
  24. that reminds me, who had those tailgates you mentioned when i picked up that bed? dunno if they're still available, but now i have some money for once.
  25. how much would you want for something like that?
