Yes...I rolled to put the lever into 4h then stopped to put it into 4l then moved forward a bit to make sure it's in 4l....then drive in the mud about 50ft and just the rear wheels spinning and no front wheel spinning...the area wasn't that thick or deep to stop the tires in place...

What's up guys Haven't done much to the jeep. Just enjoying it well up until my 4wd didn't want to work...will diagnose it tomorrow here's some pics of mudding we did this past weekend with some guys from another forum.... The vacuum lines are disconnected from the cad because I did Pete's DIY cad lock

What's up guys this weekend I went to go offroad with a few guys from another forum and I went into the mud pile and no working 4 wheel drive....I'm going to pull off the cover for the cad system today since I already locked it but to check why wasn't it working.... Any other ideas why it didn't work??

I've been searching for over 2years now and have yet to find one...I've seen them on the wj grand Cherokees and some Isuzu rodeos but none on an xj....yet...I'm pretty sure I'll find one soon enough

You know that's what I was thinking because it's $130 for a full axle in the junkyard pulled myself but obviously Comanches in the junkyards are a needle in a haystack and I'd be shock to even find one with a dana 44....thanks ill pass on this one then

What's going on guys I saw this Craigslist ad a few days ago and wondered if I should pick it up? http://miami.craigslist.org/mdc/cto/4134729103.html I know its comanche GOLD but What I don't like is that the guy already added spring perches for a yj.... I mean If I do grab this axle I do plan on regearing it to 4.88s and regear my cherokee front axle to swap over to the comanche and add the Comanches 4.11 gears to the cherokee. Obviously welding new perches for the cherokee.... What do you guys think?

So the test drive went great for a few 20-30 miles then a whole bunch of white smoke started coming out of the hood. So I thought to myself aw crap did I just trade a lemon? Nope just the original radiator decided to go out....ended getting an aluminum one for $55 from a local radiator shop in town and was replaced ( no pics ) But I also decided to get to do the valve cover gasket mod. Yes the $40 gasket! F-it I know I don't have to worry about it no more...also decided to paint the valve cover hemi- orange looks sweet.... Also I was kind of freaking out while taking off the valve cover. Knowing the miles and unknown maintenance of the truck I was actually glad it was soooo clean in inside!!! Enough talking more pics!!!

What's up guys So I traded my 99gmc Sonoma for this 98 cherokee sport aw4 4.0 4x4 with 161k miles Body is in great shape. Interior is clean. Just the headliner needs to be replace because it's sagging!

*UPDATE* What's up guys So I was doing work for the cherokee and decided since I've been working on one jeep I might as well work on the comanche.... I had bought a speedo cable a while back and finally got to install it...it feels great knowing how fast I'm going up to 35mph. Why 35mph? Because I compared my gps to the speedo 10 mph difference after 35.... Also finally got brave enough to paint my door panels black to kind of finish off my interior change.... Pics!!!!! I honestly think it looks real good!!!! Finally!!!! Whoo hoo!!!! Is anyone following?....
