hey sorry was out of town.. yeah you can buy scales to weigh a car, but they are not cheap, you can google it or like the other guy said drag racers or the roundy round crowd will have them

why not get some scales if your into track racing or maybe know some one that has some... as far as the other guy goes, didn't have to be so blunt, but it would of been nice if you told us all what the motor for and all that info.. I am all up for swaps and new idea, would be a neat thread to follow

my whole point was that the 4.0L didn't come with out a elect fan.. they are designed to have them they will not have enough cooling.. that was my point.. do some research and you will see from the factory all had elect fan..

since when is it wrong to have an opinion about something? you know nothing about who I am or what I know or what I do.. I know exactly what the topic is.. I said nothing wrong for you to be a complete tool.. so keep it to yourself... and if you know anything you will know even with a mech fan you need a shroud.. all I was saying I doubt that Cherokee or mj came without a elect fan..

look at a caravan radiator.. has one elct fan but it shroud covers the whole radiator... not just open

I am not sure I buy that ... it would not run cool with out a shroud of some kind ducting the air out the mech fan , look at most cars and you will see the air is always ducted out to the fan

I woud think they all came with the elct fan, if not it would have a shroud of some kind to cover where the elct fan should be to duct the air to the mech fan.. just my opinion

just replaced my dad 96 xj trans pulled it with transfer case and then seperated them and then installed new trans then put tc in my brother and I just lifted it in place not to bad let motor tilt down a lot made it easier

the 305 made different power depends what year it was

small block is a small block only difference is the displacement..

the shroud on a tj yj I think are very different then xj mj

am I wrong or do you have the mounts facing in opposite directions? top mount facing to front and rear facing back

build one at the junkyard.. and buy the whole non c clip d35 for a xj with disc brakes for about 150 plus core usually, just a thought, no better lace to make sure you have all the right parts...

you can just use the Dakota 2.5 bell housing for a ax15, but there rare... and put it on a jeep ax15 trans if you want to go that route

how is the 350 different then a 305? other then displacement
