  1. I have the neg cable from the battery running to a ground post, other circuits are tied to the ground post. I have a ground post at the rear of the truck that I added when I wired for trailer brakes. I will tie the fuel pump, tail lights to that same ground post in the near future (bed is coming off and new lights). If you want to end your chassis ground nightmare.......run directly to ground.
  2. Fuel pump is tied to the run circuit. I read through that thread.......don't know what to say. The guy was rather lost on the subject.
  3. Ain't none of that clever, I can tell you that much.
  4. Yes much faster to revise a listing meant to lose it and have to create a new one especially if you are trying to manage 250 listings
  5. They do this to save the listing when they are out of inventory another words to listing does not go away for the 5 days or waiting for other parts or inventory to come in for resale is common it's done all the time
  6. This is been covered Ad nauseam I think if you scroll down you'll find an ongoing thread on this very subject maybe on page 2
  7. 90% of MJ specific parts are no longer available some of the crossover parts to the XJ remain plentiful like brake parts Transmissions Etc I've never seen a brake release handle available on eBay but occasionally NOS Parts pop up I have two extras which will eventually wind up on eBay and I'll be asking $50 each As I stated it's junkyard or part out or you can get creative with the one that you have and see if you can repair it
  8. JY or do a want ad here. Or contact anyone doing a part out.
  9. Anything new to report now that you've had a few days with it?
  10. One thing about the Aussies, they know what a 4x is for. This American concept of rock bouncing/crawling until you destroy what you have............never understood that.
  11. A brunette is all I could afford.
  12. This seems much more manageable but the wife won't have it. I do like this though-
  13. When I get my truck finished, I want to build something similar. Won't be as nice.......but...........
  14. Well, at least it didn't crawl up your shorts.
  15. Sympathy post- 13 years ago I was gutting a bathroom, I got a cut on my left calf. I was diagnosed with MRSA. If that $#!& don't kill you, you'll wish it had. Doctors didn't do much for me other than prescribe powerful antibiotics. I had to perform surgery on myself, I made about a 2" incision with a razor blade so I could clean the wound out myself. MRSA feels like the flu multiplied by 10.
  16. Can't speak to the critter that got you, have no idea, you really should have captured him. I'm not a fan of PPEs, I've always said that gloves are for doctors and pussies. Men need to be men! That said, as I get older............. I mow on a tractor but when I weed-eat, rubber masonry boots and I wear a pair of sweat pants that go down over the boots. Boots are for rocks and snakes and whatever other critters like ticks. There is $#!& out there that will eat you alive, here in the country.
  17. It's been a progression over a long period of time. I drove the truck as a DD/work truck for 5 years, worked on it constantly. It has not been driven in almost two years now. I started the bodywork last year........just can't bring myself to continue, maybe in the fall. Doing other project that interest me at the moment. I'll get around to paint soon.
  18. The bolts are just 1/4-20 that can be bought anywhere. I found a generic grommet that fit the breather and then ground out the VC to fit, if I remember correctly. If you don't want it to leak, grind down the lugs and use Felpro blue rubber gasket. You'll see lugs ground down in the pic below.
  19. Wonderful to hear Hogan I've got some questions for you when I get home to my computer this is one post I've been waiting for
  20. Look on eBay that's where I found mine the Mopars still exist
  21. Pretty sure the 2.5 and the 4.0 is going to be completely different at the c-101 don't think that's going to work out for you
  22. Here are the ones that I bought, I have not installed but they seem to be of high quality. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1984-1996-Jeep-Cherokee-Comanche-front-or-rear-door-weatherstrip-seals-pair/331848931416?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649
